I don't know or care about Musk, the individual. His technical accomplishments with SpaceX, Skylink and Tesla are pretty impressive. My amateur guess is that he is an autie struggling with interpersonal relations but being overly successful in things that attract his attention. He's not being intentionally difficult, he lacks the proper filters to behave normally.
