Marijuana laws vs Hashish laws?

I was wondering if the laws are the same for being caught with hashish and marijuana in the sense that (in NJ) that if you have over 28g of weed it's intent to sell. Is that the same with Hashish?

H&S 11357(a):

11357. (a) Except as authorized by law, every person who possesses
any concentrated cannabis shall be punished by imprisonment in the
county jail for a period of not more than one year or by a fine of
not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or by both such fine and
imprisonment, or shall be punished by imprisonment in the state
prison.

usually the laws consider it the same thing.
every state and city and township has their own variations on drug laws though so why not ask your local PD?
