marijuana and hair loss

also, i think you guys are going bald because you're genetically predisposed to baldness and your levels of dihydrotestosterone are increasing; since dht is highly androgenic, much moreso than testosterone, its causing you to bald.

Try taking a medication like dutasteride which stops the conversion of testosterone to dht.

Its pretty obvious that you are projecting your displeasure of going bald onto an innocuous flower. Cannabis didn't make you go bald, excessive amounts of potent androgenic hormones produced by your body did.

You don't know anything for a fact, bro. There's absolutely no way that you can determine the causality of your baldness utilizing any type of systematic analysis. What you're doing is guessing, and believing your own bullshit.

Wow, my research methods psyc class came in handy for something outside of school?

I am a believer in that marijuana use does affect certain people's hair growth/shed rates. I have been researching and posting on forums for 2 years now about this very topic. I notice exactly what many other people will agree with me on and that is; more smokey, more sheddy, less smokey, less sheddy. After a while of cutting out weed, I miss it so much and start to get back into it lightly... then slightly more often... then I have to stop again because I get the same results everytime. When I quit, I am much happier with my hair coverage and growth results. When I am not smoking, I shed less than 50 hairs a day. Average healthy shed rates are 50 - 120 hairs a day.

Also, like I said, I have been researching the correlation between marijuana use and hair loss for at least 2 years now(most likely it's been at least 3 years) and what I have noticed is that every year, there and more and more results when I google search "marijuana hair loss" ... more forums with the questions popping up, more medical journal sites with info on pot affecting hormones and easily binding to hair follicles etc...

Do the experiment... quit, wait and observe.
