Emerald rivers flowing
through the dark forest
of your soul,
I am captured
by your radiant glow
of waves,
Drenching,
Crashing,
against the walls.

You built this
hardened prison
from all of your guilt,
Sorrow,
for crimes
that were never yours,
yet you were left
to pay the debts.

Still this fortress
slices away
each layer of
innocence,
love,
forbidding any signs
of the existence
I once knew,
leaving nothing behind
but a mangled river
in a broken man.

^Lovely.
Such a poignant, twisting piece. Very nice.

of course very well done, one most can relate to since we all become broken at one time. Just interesting to see when it is put back together. :)
