I have chronic pain. it get worst at night after the days activities. My oxy is precious since its under prescribed to me despite my injury on account of the widespread abuse in my state and my young age.
The problem is that I have to take my oxy in the morning just to stave off withdrawal but I could do without it pain wise. Its a waste of my valuable oxy....like I'm using it just to stave off WD instead of to treat my worst pain which i get at night.
What would you say to a low dose of bupe in the morning (0.2 mg or so) to get me through the morning/day. Then when the pain gets worst at night take my oxy.
Its worth a try. I'm okay with taking bupe after a nights sleep after oxy...(no precip WD). But i havn't tried this strategy to manage my pain. of course my worry is that the oxy wouldn't work for the pain because the bupe is blocking it.
thoughts?
