Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or anything, but I need help...I've been using this site for a year now and this is my first post. Thanks in advance!
Anyway, about a week ago, I got my wisdom teeth removed and was prescribed 5-500 Lortab/Vicodin. I saved it, and then got messed up as usual once the pain subsided. I would take two at a time for about a week, (so I could make them last), and got relatively messed up with a noticeable euphoria each time. I just got a refill containing 7.5-500 of the same pill, but now, every time I take them, the effects either hit immediately and subside within an hour and a half, or they take literally 2 and a half hours to hit me. In addition, the euphoria is noticeably reduced, and if anything, the lack of euphoria puts me in a bad mood. Mind you, the "headiness" that usually accompanies the high is still just as strong. It's like only that one particular effect is disappearing!
I consider myself a reasonably knowledgeable person about how to best take pain pills, so I know I'm supposed to expect a certain degree of tolerance. But the fact that I have a stronger dose should negate any short-term tolerance that built up over the previous week....Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or can do right to get that euphoria back? I didn't run into any problems whatsoever when I was using the 5-500 prescription. Maybe part of it is in my mind?
