Linguistically speaking, "east coast" is WAY too broad of an area in the US. There's New England, then the sort of Mid-Atlantic area, and the coastal south...they are all quite different from each other, so simply "east coast" doesn't tell us anything. Within my home state, in NYC people tend to say cashed, but in Western NY I usually hear "beat." "Dead" is also common...at some point I need to compile some sort of spreadsheet on regional cannabis slang terms...
