Opioids Mallinckrodt patches

I just typed alot to post and lost it so ill make this short.
I know the mylan paches suck but im wondering. Abou the
Mallinckrodt ones. Someone stole my subs and i dont get them
Filled till monday. I have a 75 mg Mallinckrodt patch and i would
Like to know what the best route of administration would
Be. Ive never worn them and have a huge tolerence. Any
info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! !!

How big is your tolerance? The best way is to take it transdermally provided you have the tolerance.

Pretty huge tolerance...
I was doing at least 5 to ten k8 dilaudids a day for months
and chewing half of a 100 mcg duragesic patch twice a day.
i used to do heroin habit but lost my connect. It seems no matter
how many ds i have 3 to 10 i would do them that day. I would

messing around with fent is like playing with fire.. i doubt you will get many responses that say something other than "wear it" like it is meant since this is a harm reduction forum.. fent is a touchy subject since if someone gives you bad advice it can seriously kill you.

Fentanyl is not to be fucked with by anyone without a tolerance. 11 years of opioids means you have one hell of a tolerance, so if you've safely chewed half a 100mcg/hr (10mg) patch, Then you can do the same with the 75mcg/hr (7.5mg) patches. You can cut matrix patches in half just like you did with the 100, Mallinckrodt patches are matrix, not gel.

However, the safest and most effective way is to apply the patch as it's designed, it takes 13 hours to kick in this way but you can get at least 48-72 hours of use transdermally compared to less than 12 if you chew it.

The best relief is from transdermal. Don't tamper with the patch, just wear it.

best to wear it if u have awhile to wait for ur script and cant get anything else. itll last longer

Hi op,
I do not have any experience with this brand, which seems important to you. I understand why. I've been on Fentanyl Transdermal System for awhile now. I know when you are feeling badly it feels like you must get whatever you can into your system as quickly as possible, BUT...

I implore you to listen to the responses you've received so far. It's good advice, and these people do, in fact, know what they're talking about first hand. it may not feel great to just wear the patch, but having been in your shoes before I can almost guarantee that if you try to get more out of it faster, you will only regret it earlier.

Sorry to hear you have been stolen from. It has happened to me before and I felt very violated and betrayed

I feel for you bud. SOmeone stole my methadone carries before and I was sooo damn sick. Plus when I went to my clinic and explained what happend I got kicked off the program for being to unsafe with my methadone. Pfft.. How was it my fault someone broke into my house and stole a whole bunch of shit and my methadone. I was at such an evil clinic. SOoo glad I switched!

i find they dont last all the way to the 72 hour mark. but almost. and u get sick slooowwwly cuz the patch still has some shit left in it. i will take it off and chew it if its starting to wear off and im too uncomfortable but i can get more shortly [i.e. the chewing will release all of whats left and i will un-sick myself but i wouldnt do it if i had a long wait till my next patch]

also how long it lasts obviously has to do with when the dose dips below what ur tolerance requires for u to feel well. theyre supposed to consistently release the same amount buutttt i am not sure how this works at the tail end of the patch's life.
