Would it be possible to create your own injection ampoules? Well I know it would be possible but I suppose my real question is about what the risks and dangers would be. If you kept everything sterile and made sure you used very clean substances what exactly would the risks be, if you filtered the solution with a micron filter would that make a difference? I've tried searching everywhere but can't find any information anywhere. Having a fridge full of ampoules of various substances would be pretty sweet. :)

Yes it's possible but you should definitely use a micron filter and bacteriostatic water.

Captain.Heroin has posted about this somewhere so maybe PM him about it.

If you're talking about storing the shots for some extended period of time, I wouldn't mess with it. You don't want fungus growing in the needle and getting into your body. It would be better to use clean syringes to draw up a shot that you re going to use immediately.

my $0.02, don't store shots, you shouldn't have to. The longer your deal is in solution the more bacteria can breed if proper precautions are not taken. Ampoules manufacture is best left to the pharmaceutical companies.

Make vials instead. I don't think you will be able to properly fill amps and seal them. Vials are much better and you only need a syringe to fill them. As long as you use bacteriostatic water and pure enough substances, with proper technique, it's pretty safe.

You're not going to make an air sealed ampoule. You don't need to. If you want to create a solution to store for repeated use, just make sure you use bacterostatic water to prevent bacteria. As long as everything is sterile, it's fine.

Barry Sharpless actually blinded himself in one eye sealing an ampoule, when he condensed nitrogen into it and then it exploded as he held it to the light to look at it... Stick to vials...
