Making smokeable base (meth?)

Right I have a coupla grams of base(nice and off white/yellowish, puttyish not a powder, very strong smell, seems really strong) and would like to make a smokeable form of base, which every now and again I manage to get ahold and around here we call it meth, but online it seems that all the reciepes are for normal speed, not smokable speed.
Basicaly I wanna make what crack is to cocaine, is there any way of doing this with base?

You need to clarify. Are you talking about amphetamine, which I assume you are because you're from England? Or are you talking about methamphetamine?
Methamphetamine does not need to be prepped to be smoked. It will work just fine as a hydrochloric salt.
 
Speed (whether it is amphetamine or methamphetamine) is a OIL as a freebase, not a solid (powder) like freebase cocaine (i.e. crack).
Speed (again, regardless of whether it is amphetamine or methamphetamine) does not need to be in freebase form to be smoked, and you should just leave it in its salt form (i.e. as you buy it) to smoke it.
One reason people don't smoke amphetamine sulfate (which is almost definitely what your 'base' is made up of) is because smoking sulfate salts can be harsh and nasty-tasting. However, it does work, and you will get high...it just might be rough on your throat/lungs.
If you do want to smoke the amphetamine sulfate, you should clean it up and get rid of most of the cuts before smoking it. To do this, pour ICE COLD acetone (paint thinner) over the base (which should be in a coffee filter in a funnel) and most of the yucky cuts will dissolve in the acetone while the amphetamine will not, so the powder left in the coffee filter will be much cleaner.

and to add to fairnymph's post, dont smoke the speed until its completely dry, i know this might be obvious to some, but fires are bad and should be avoided at all times.

i think the poster has that shitty pasty speed, thats not actually a powder. its just unrefined speed which for some unknown reason lazyass chemists leave out the final step in making speed (to my knowledge). i think you can turn the gooey crap speed into powder, do a search on how to actually make meth (not on bluelight, try google) and just do the last step in refining it. im NOT saying go try to make meth, just refine the crap you have. ive never seen this goo meth, its not smokeable as is?
