making sense of nothing

* this is something I wrote a while back, just thought I would share with you.... , not the best but not the worst either*
conversations slowing down
my heads a little tired...
tired from trying to make sense...
sense of nothing
For so much time
and such little words
where did it all go...
You said those were the times that meant the most
the most to you that is...
you held so tightly
pushing pause at all the wrong times...
what you chose not to see
was the only things you were preventing
was the life inside of me
So here we are,
no more lies in our friendship
means talking about the obvious...
and hanging out all of about
every other weekend
trying to rewind ...
we fall, in and out
we swing, back and forth
we swerver, side to side
and back again...
repetative actions,
and repetative words
add up to nothing...
making sense out of nothing...
But still wanting to believe differntly...
and for a while I did
But then I remembered the hole we were in...
and I crawled back in it
