making ghb?

ok, i'm new here so i'm not entirely sure if this is an appropriate question to ask.... but i read through the guidelines and didn't see anything that related. i also did a search prior and didn't find anything. so, here it is......
is it possible for the average person to get the materials (without being hastled) to make good quality ghb? and if so, can someone give the best way to go about it without too much hastle?

Yeah.
You need gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH, Red devil lye draino). That's it. Nothing else.
You can get NaOH at any large grocery store. GBL is a little more tricky to get but it's not something that's gonna take a whole lotta effort. Look around.
And ex-addict, I dont think he asked for detailed instructions on how to make this drug.
