Hi there all I'm a new member but have been reading through this site for years.
I recently received a large vial through the postal system, but it got crushed in the process.
It was wrapped in a cotton type fabric though fortunately, to protect it I presume. As well as bubble wrap of course. Damn those heavy handed postal people.
Anyway, I took the bits of broken glass, the cap and the piece of liquid soaked cotton material and placed it all into a small glass dish.
Then added isopropyl alcohol (99.99% purity) I did four washes altogether getting 27ml of iso.
I was told that the vial had approximately 100 hits in it, of about 150ug's each.
It was a large vial, that had 300-360 doses in it originally.
Now that I have reduced the volume of isopropyl down to 8.25ml it has turned into a milky solution.
This suggests to me that it is of course very concentrated.
In fact any less than 20ml and the solution starts to precipitate tiny, crystal clear shards.
With the pipette that I use to drop I will get about 110 drops from that volume.
That was what I was told it would be (99-110 drops on average)
I am wondering what is the typical volume of a vial with 100 doses?
Does isopropyl act different with LSD compared to other solvents, such as ethanol or pure water?
Has anyone else seen this happen before with a vial of liquid L?
I am just trying to make the best of a bad situation, I believe that I would have got all of the LSD from the vial. As it was very fresh (sent very quickly) and fresh Europe acid :D and there was no liquid elsewhere in the package, it would have only been a few ml or so, so the cotton material would have absorbed all the liquid when the vial was crushed.
What I'm presuming is that the sender accidentally sent me a much more concentrated vial or that it's something to do with the iso.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
