Making a homogeneus powder on your own (25i-nbome)

Hi!

In a dream a foaf found a note, this is the blurry recollection of what he read:
A question: Can one make a homogeneous mixture of powders with some basic laboratory equipment, and basic chemistry experience?

(For personal use.)
I’m thinking of mixing 25i-nbome with another powder to bulk volume for nasal administration.
This recipe might be a complete disaster, but I would still like to hear Your opinions of it:
Assume one would dissolve 100mg of 25i-nbome in 100ml of 95% ethanol. You then ad 1000mg of HPDCB to the solution and let it stir in a magnetic stirrer for about 24h.
You pour the solvent into a stainless bowl and let the ethanol evaporate while the mixture is slowly and evenly stirred (got a machine for this..).
Would this result in a close to homogenous powder, without hot pockets or blind spots?

I'm new here on the forum, and I’ve got a hunch that this thread might upset some people.
I know there is a big and dandy thread, but so many of the questions asked there are met with misunderstanding and un-useful response.
Since I know this is something people are experimenting with already I figured I might start a new thread to clear some things out.
I’ve read plenty of threads before posting this one but none of them have had the answers I’m looking for

It might, and it might not. In case it doesn't become a homogenous powder consequences can be really, really bad. An overdose of 25i-nbome is pretty severe and possibly lethal.

In theory, what you propose should create a homogenous powder, BUT the issue here is that the 2 powders you are mixing will have different densities, with time the more dense of the 2 powders will fall to the bottom of the vial or baggie.

I have read of people making these "mixes" with NBOMe's, and it working out fine. That still doesn't make it safe. Why not just use liquid measurement? Or buy a micropippete of ebay and lay your own blotters?

I see, thats a pretty obvious issue. Was hoping the two would bind to each other by solving them together.

agreed with fagott there. See: Brazil nut effect. What one can do is make a solution of 25i & EtOH, then apply a measured dose to dry carrier, such as HPBCD or mannitol, one dose at a time, let the ethanol evaporate, then insufflate. While slightly less convenient, it is much safer.
