Make Ativan (Lorazepam) IV'able

So i have a bunch of .5 Ativans pill form... so in order to shoot it i have to dissolve it in alcohol right? Like vodka or iso alcohol? And then whats the process after i grind it up and add it to the alcohol...? After said steps then i can IV it?

You should never be IVing stuff like ethanol or iso. If you're intent on IVing non water soluble stuff, you're gonna need to get hold of some propylene glycol.

The BA of oral benzos is very high though, upwards of 90%, so the risks of shooting greatly outweigh the benefits. Personally recommend against it.

Do not IV lorazepam with ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. Store-bought ethanol or isopropanol isn't a good thing to use. Really, IVing lorazepam is massive waste unless you feel like going through the hassle of getting some propylene glycol and all that.

As nAON mentioned, the oral BA for lorazepam is really really good. Just swallow it or administer it sublingually/buccally if you want a quicker onset.
