This was in the Washington Post today.
"But Hutchinson and members of the committee said yesterday that they are concerned about a heist Monday at a Mexico City distribution center that was stocked with OxyContin. Nine armed and masked thieves took control of the facility and made off with almost 1 million tablets, worth more than $20 million. Hutchinson said most of those pills are destined for America's underground."
This is the ULTIMATE in Drug Store Cowboyism.
Hahaha.. I hope they end up in the DC area, for my sake.
 
No Way!!! Oh my god! Well, there aint gonna be a shortage of oxies antime soon. Hopefully this new surplus will lower the price of the pills. $20 million worth? Fuck
 
man, that's crazy...that's quite a few pills..Although that's probably the street value, which they probably do at about $1 a mg. But that's still alot of pills..

Wow.. 1 million pills will go fast, so it's not like we can expect a flood of pills.. and yeah, they probably "estimated" the "value" based at like $1/mg or some shit..
The people that pulled this off will have a place in my prayers tonight! May God keep them safe and free of law enforcement, they are truely heros among us!
 
So if they estimated $1/mg, then we can say the pills averaged out to be 20mg pills, a million 20mg oxycontin's is TWENTY KILOS of oxycodone. Score.
 
Had they been the 80mg tabs they probably would have estimated the value at between 50m and 80m - if there is one thing the cops/media loves to do it's overblow the value of drugs on the street..
The 160mg tabs were removed from manufacture months ago, so it's unlikely anyone would still be holding that many - they are rare now and were snatched up quick onces they were removed (an article talked about how pain doctors were prescribing 3-5 month supplies to chronic pain patients) ..
But still, even if they are only the 20mg tabs - SO WHAT? Thats 1 million 20mg tabs, enough to make lots of people VERY HAPPY!
 
I'm really fucking pleased now.
I hope to god some make it my way, but moreso, I'm just thrilled that some people pulled it off. If they get caught.....I'm....well...I'll be really pissed off if nothing else.
I wish I'd been in on that fuckin' heist.
