Major injury at the tail end of a cycle

So I just crashed my bike and separated my shoulder. Obviously I can't really do much in terms of lifting. To make everything worse I'm at the end of a cycle of:

test c 600mg/wk 12 weeks
anavar 50mg/ED 8 weeks

I just today finished it. Going to wait 18 days for the test c to decline and then start PCT as planned. Problem? I can no longer train or even ride my bike. Did I just waste my entire cycle/food/effort/$$$ because of some random accident? Should I continue eating large (gain fat) if I can't train? Doc said 6 weeks in a sling with a possibility of surgery. I'm beyond tears at this point.

Any suggestions?

I've gained roughly 10lb from training/food/cycle in 12 weeks. I think that's pretty good. Did I just flush it down the drain?

BTW it's an AC separation type III.

If you're not training I'm not sure why you'd eat large? Just get enough protein and calories to slow down muscle loss a bit.

I can't comment on whether it was a complete waste...

The good thing is that once you get back into it, you'll make the gains quicker than you did before. There are studies out there showing that people who built muscle and lost it gain it again faster than those who never had it.

Sorry to hear about what happened.

Yeah I am very sorry to hear about your accident. It can be really unsettling to have to take a break from lifting when you don't want to. This is what I had to do for a few months when I broke both bones in one arm. It was really painful.

Before you know it you'll be back to lifting. :)

Okie...You have two options

A) youre one of the people who believes AAS will help with your recover...if thats the case then continue on what u were doing and continue to eat right

B) if you feel the need to stop the cycle go ahead and start PCT....no need to mess up your hormone levels over a freak accident

And the eating thing, unless youre trying to get big or something you should always eat healthy meals in moderation. if you cant work out youre going to of course gain weight, if your worried about that since youre suffering from an upper body injury just do cardio and leg work outs every so often.

Bro you should go on some GHRP-2 , and some HGH - proper PCT with your cycle would be simply nolvadex.

The Peptides will be your best friend at this point.

Where does it say I think AS use will promote healing powers? I said I was already on a cycle. *Ironically the day before the accident I had done my last pin of test c. I still plan on doing PCT as normal. The only leg exercises I can see myself doing is loads of extensions, leg curls and maybe leg presses. Guess it's something. Still got to actually make it to the gym. *EDIT: I don't think there's anything ironic about this.

I was doing random "research" and this was suggested. Doesn't it take a long to time work? So long that I'd be healed before it started? :P Yeah I had everything ready for PCT with nolva. Thanks though.

I'm going to attempt to at least eat my body weight in protein, cut back on the carbs and up my veggies. Seeing as how I bike everywhere I can't really go to the gym. ...but I can still walk around the place. Here's hoping muscle memory is fast. What's 6-8 weeks anyway?

Also (and I think I already got this covered) I was given Vicodin 5/500 (APAP) for pain. I'm going out of my way to avoid taking it. I figured 8 weeks of anavar was toxic on the liver. I took 1200mg of ALA the entire time (on cycle) and am now taking 3000mg of milk thistle a day. Am I right or am I right?

I didnt say anyplace u believed in it

I said IF u were one of the people who did continue on as normal and run proper PCT like art said

If you dont think like that stop and run proper PCT like Art said

Im not a big peptide guy but people are falling in love with them so give that a try too

I apologize for the misunderstanding. Going to see a doctor who will refer me to another doctor tomorrow. Done a bit of reading on AC separations and feeling wildly depressed over it. I've read various recoveries usually being able to lift within a few months but full recovery not happening for years. I guess I'll find out. I'm not looking forward to sitting around losing muscle. I was 150lb (195-200 now) before I started lifting and I'm not looking forward to going back to that. Going to be just another pencil neck dweeb.

The use of GHRP-6 actually sounds promising. If I do anything like that I'll wait till after PCT, and probably after I've made some form of recovery.

The only good I can see coming from this is having time to think about life, saving money on supplements and possibly qualifying for medical marijuana. I don't want to be some skinny stoner jerkoff though.

Not that it's the end of the world but as to mock me I received a sample of NO Xplode 2.0 in the mail. A total gimmick but I wanted to try it. What am I going to do? Take NO-Xplode and do situps?

if youre that worried bro just do very basic things to keep yourself in shape

U had a bad shoulder, work out your legs, lightly work out your other arm, do abs

ANYTHING you can think doing without the shoulder, hell depending on how bad the shoulder is youre gonna be rehabbing with light weight anyhow so u may as well get in a habit of it, while keeping you in the same productive at the same time

I'm going to wait until I heal somewhat before doing anything. I managed to do situps against a couch, though. Hurray!

How long did that take you? How long do you think it'll take you get back there, assuming you regress that far?

The only leg exercises I can see myself doing is loads of extensions, leg curls and maybe leg presses.
Be careful with the leg extensions. They're notorious for causing injuries.

That really sucks about the shoulder, but what were you on a cycle for? 10lbs in 3 months is hardly anything unless you weren't on it for gaining size. I would just get on pct and focus on letting the shoulder heal. 10lbs isn't even something to worry about imo.

It was really more like 15lb but I feel like that 5lb was mostly water. It would come and go. I was doing more of a lean bulk. I was 185 at the beginning.

So you were on cycle for 4 months? You could always stay on longer, it will definitely speed up healing, but of course you up the risks the longer you're on. 10-15lbs of lean muscle isn't bad. I've gained 30lbs bodyweight naturally in about 5 months, but that wasn't all lean. Anyways try not to get too down on yourself, this is just a set back. Before you know it you'll be back in the gym rehabbing your shoulder and doing light workouts. I've read about powerlifters coming back from broken backs, so you CAN do it.

More like 3 months. Apparently I need surgery. Going under Friday. Going to screw the bone back in place then wait until I heal, remove screw. Doc said should take a week. That's better than I thought. Still need to build my strength\flexability after that. I'm sure I'll have some crazy bill at the end but I'll be better.

Whatever risdual test I have kicking around still has at least two weeks in my system.

Good luck, just take it easy and rehab after you get oked with your doctor. 3 months isn't THAT bad in the scheme of things. You'll lose a lot of strength but it will come back fast, especially with another cycle. Are you going to stay on cycle any longer to speed the healing?

0.2mg subcutaneous for a few weeks, then 0.1mg subcutaneous for a few more weeks. I would do this approximately 3 times per day - before eating, and waiting some time affter the shot before eating.

TheArtofWar wrote a really good guide for the use of peptides.

The healing process was definitely accelerated quicker than it would have been without GHRP-2.
