Magnesium Oxide of any use?

Is Magnesium Oxide of any use for benzodiazepine withdrawals (especially twitches and muscle spasms)? It's all that I have at the moment and I'm aware it's not absorbed as efficiently as other forms of magnesium supplements.

It's a mild muscle relaxant but I don't know how much good it would be for benzo WDs...

MgO is poorly absorbed and is useless for benzo W/D. its effect is mild at best.
