Misc magnesium glycinate?

Yes, magnesium glycinate is one of the many types of "chelated" (read: organic counter ion) magnesiums. Has better absorbtion than the oxide, sulphate etc.

He probably recommends it because it has a higher proportion of magnesium by weight than e.g. magnesium saccharate or any of the heavier salts.

^and because it costs more.

all chelated types of magnesium (citrate, maleate, glycinate etc) are good, the rest is crap.

What are you guys babbling about?? The Magnesium Glycinate amino acid chelate form of magnesium IS THE BEST form of magnesium you can have, and IMO is the ONLY form that actually absorbs into the human body... Magnesium oxide literally has a 0% BA imo... get with the shit people, the OTC nonsense supplements don't work, you gotta actually do your research and get the right form of each supplement you are trying to 'supplement' with.. Its the same with Zinc. Zinc picolinate is the best form for the human body to absorb.

BTW why is this posted in "Other Drugs"? Wouldn't it go better in like the "Healthy Living" forum??
