Magnesium and jaw clench

Ive been searching for about an hour now trying to find the right kind, and time to take, and how much to take, but haven't been able to find the exact answer.

I clench super hard core on mdma, and try not to to but it gets hard to focus all night on not doing it. Now can I just go to the local london drugs and buy the Jamieson Magnesium 250mg - 90's, or is that not the right kind?

How long before the mdma should I take it, and how much of it shoul I take?

what kind of magnesium is the Jamieson 250mgs?
magnesium oxide has absolutely horrible bioavailbility and ime doesnt do shit for clenching.
i use 400mg magnesium citrate the week before a roll and it helps with the clenching a little but not a ton.
and magnesium taurate is supposed to be the best, but most stores dont carry it.
 
Not sure of the exact kind, I don't think I got the *right* kind but it works "okay".
Every day for a week and a half before you roll :)

I'm taking my magnesium every 2-3 days though, when I'm not intending to roll, hoping it will help a bit :p
 
I was looking around and so far Ive found

London Naturals Cal-Mag Chelate with Vitamin D - 150's
or
GNC Magnesium 500 which is magnesium oxide

now in the supplement thread it says chelate is the best, but that has cal and vit-d in it, so would i just be better off taking 2 of the GNC mag-500's, and hoping it helps? tyhen if it doesnt maybe take 2 more if i start to clench?

or should i keep looking around for pure magnesium chelate?
