Great to hear... I am sure you will be very pleased in comparison to the difficult half-success of other kinds of treatment. Happy flea-free tripping from here on out, for both you and Rasputin (great name for a black cat, btw... my next adoption will be a black cat as they are much harder to find homes for, and that will be his name, too!)
I have always wondered if black cats might have some sort of effect that the additional melanin that makes their fur so dark might also have an effect on the brain somehow, that makes them act more intelligent and/or intuitive, so maybe Rasputin is EXTRA sensitive to your mindstates. Anyone else sometimes think black cats act a bit different than non-black-cats like they are a special breed or something? I know I know it's probably all just in my head, but I dunno, could be something else going on, who knows.
Cats (and other pets) are SO sensitive to tiny little behavioral things we do and are not even aware of, or even perhaps we give off different smells from out bodies when tripping that they pick up on, it is totally NOT a surprise or terribly mysterious that they seem to "know" something is different about us when we trip, so they act different. Doesn't necessarily mean they are telepathic or something.
Of course... MAYBE THEY ARE and when tripping our emotions are so amplified that they just FEEL something of what we are feeling and so act a little nutty for that reason too. As Judy Tenuda used to say many times in her act "Hey, it could happen!"
