Macro Photography

I've been meaning to post here for a bit, but I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to play around with my new camera. I'm still saving my pennies for a proper macro lens, but in the meanwhile...

Those are really great photos. Tempted to run outside with mums new camera and take some.

8ft are they your photos? I really dig a couple of those, they look so grimy. The third one especially, and the spider in the glass.

WTF of coarse they are mine!

That spider in the glass was preserved at the museum with alcohol or the like.

The third one is a Weta ... a native New Zealand insect relative of the Cricket.

ATM i'm busy as fuck ... there may be no more photo's for a while from me ... but your one's are pretty dope!

one of my professors went to see DEVO earlier this week. he said at the end of the show they were throwing out bouncy balls. he snagged me one, and here it is. :)

Fair enough! ... that's actually some strange living coral from a seawater setup tank in the pet shop ..... it look's wierd aye!

I took the colour out of the photo for effect.

if you make it in grayscale it could be an image from an electron microscope ;)
 
Personally I like the fuzz, it adds character, just like the slightly worn paint
 
lol thanks fizzle :D i didn't realize how bad it was until i looked at the full size pick. i was like "did a cat crawl in my pocket or what?!"
