I've done my searches, but could not turn up any thread here or otherwise on administering amphetamines, methamphetamine in particular, via intranasal solution.

I have sustained enough damage from repeated insufflation of powdered substances, primarily amphetamines; which, in spite of my better judgement, were street-pressed d-ma tablets. I speculate the binders largely comprised of powdered talcum (Mg3Si4O10(OH)2)

Plain and simple, I would like to dissolve these tablets into a quantity of water, filter, and administer; it is the details of the procedure which are causing me some confusion.

  1. I was first inclined towards using sterile saline solution used to flush I.V. lines but could not find any information supporting or negating NaCl reacting with amphetamines in solution
  2. Quantity of solvent is also an issue; I'm leaning towards using 50cc of solution and have about 400mg of MA trapped in around 80g of binder.
  3. Nebulization of the solution is obviously the ideal method of administering a nasal solution, but would simply dripping it into one's nasal passages result in a large loss in bioavailability in comparison to powder insufflation?
  4. I've been reading up on the technical aspect of this administration technique but could not determine whether droplet size is relative to the substance being administered or not.

I would very much enjoy if this could serve as a reference in the future for those wishing to minimize associated with this method of administering psychoactives; subsequently, an addendum to this OP will be made outlining the procedure when we've finished hammering it out.
