^Yeah good point, I think it has another name, but the Comcast Center is a great venue and has all sorts of good concerts. There is Marina Bay in Quincy, too, if you are into that sort of place. And there is a famous rock down there somewhere. The stadium isn't really southshore either, its more inland.

Not like the northshore has much redeemable qualities. Use to be the Palace nightclub in Saugus that people came from all over to rave at, but they tore it down and put up a Lowes. I guess Salem is good for what its worth as sort of the Halloween capital of the country.
The rock or Gibralter maybe?

seriously? you guys haven't heard of Plymouth rock? we were taught to believe the pilgrims landed there.

Oh I know of Plymouth Rock. In (according to the sign when entering, as it was the original way the spelled it) Plimouth, MA.

They just opened up a "bar-cade" in my general area that, had I still been using, I would have definitely gone to right after shooting up. Since it opened after I started getting clean, I can enjoy it for what it is without dope setting the bar too high. I can't say the same for when I was watching anime hopped up on oxies and weed. I feel like it's a trigger now to watch anime.

What bar-cade, is a Dave n Busters? Idk why but those places seem to come and go quickly. There was one about 5 miles up rt 1 from me that only lasted a few years. Was nice that a friend bartended there and gave us tons of free, overly stiff drinks....as long as we tipped him something excessive. Then there was Good Times in Somerville, which went out of business around 10 or so years ago, probably coinciding with the drop in popularity of the dance-dance revolution game.

Actually, this place is busting at the seams on the weekends. It appeals to people between ages 25 and 35, who are very nostalgic people, and like being drunk while we play the classic games we grew up on. :P It's pretty hard to get a good parking space. Wouldn't be surprised if they relocate maybe to downtown Amherst. It's in Hadley right now.

Ya of course I know the layout. I don't know, I must be missing something. I just read scags saying charlestown and then you say yes, go to Providence. Whatever doesn't really matter. I'll watch the video later and maybe then it will make sense.

Ftr south shore > north shore. That's an irrefutable fact. Look it up

I was just being a dick....In RI, we like to hate on Mass just for fun, but in reality, it's almost the same place....RI is so small, you're never more than 30 minutes from Connecticut or Mass.....I like Providence a lot, but it's impossible for me to not see it through the eyes of a dope fiend....It has a long history of organized crime and other shady shit, and it's always been a fun place to get into trouble of all kinds....Boston is a lot bigger, and there's more normal things to do there, but driving anywhere around there makes me wanna kill myself!

Ya man the streets don't make any fucking sense. Even most of the highway in this state is ridiculous. Now that everyone has gps you don't run into it a lot but, one of the hardest things to do was to give someone that was from out of state directions.

Boston is a good spot! streets are tough everywhere around here. it's nothing like when I was living in NY. and RI is nothing like Boston.. did you just compare the two? are you living around here now or a past resident of the area? maybe its cuz I am not officially from RI but I never considered the area for much.. but I am sure you ask any user/addict who is from the area and they know all the ins and outs.

alot of you guys still live right around Boston or moved on from there? sometimes I think I'd be better off moving away and getting away from this shit.. but then I realize even when I did get away from certain things I end up finding those things again. and yes, there is no one to blame but me.

Anyone from the Three Rivers, Palmer, Munson area I just moved here from CT? I don't know anyone in the area so Far I hate it. Haven't found it but I'm positive its here

hate when I pick up and they say its not new but I KNOW it is. do you think I cant tell colors? why is it dark, dark brown today but basically white the other day. what did 2x's my normal and I still dont feel AS nice, ha. sorry, this is me complaining when using. i notice i tend to do that alot. its me hating on myself for using so finding other excuses lmao.

jumpingjack.. you talking about fall rivers? its like a dope capital over there. i never been myself but met alot of people in jails/rehabs around here who come from springfield or fall river and always telling me how great their dope is. its funny in MA because depending where youre from youre always trying to back the dope your city is pumping. anytime i meet someone in rehab or jail of past (bad mistakes) i always have the people reppin' their city. i know, i know.. gotta rep where youre from.. but sometimes you dont even know anything besides youre spot, so how you saying its the best?

yea the dope scene out in the western part of the state is probably going to be similar to what you were used to in CT. It's prevalent throughout the state. I would like to cop in Holyoke just to be able to compare the quality and whole scene in general to what I'm used to in eastern mass.

and yea I know what you mean about people always reppin the dope from their city. when I was staying in Jamaica Plain for a couple weeks I met addicts from throughout the state and most people were like that, particularly the dudes from the Fall River area.

The problem is that where I'm from my whole group of friends, well not everyone but it seemed that way, eased into the scene and so I always knew where to get it. Here I know nobody. I think I'm screwed for awhile.

yeah I feel you on not knowing anyone and the difficulty that can cause an opiate user.

if you have wheels then I wouldn't fret the situation. if not your gonna have to get a little creative.

I wouldn't go that far man haha

hit up some NA meetings and look for the people who are mandated to be there for court, rehabs etc. Usually the ones getting papers signed. Spark up some conversations and do some networking. I feel like a dick promoting that for those that really go for recovery, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

That's a really solid idea. For your and my peace of mind I won't push anyone who is trying for real. I know what it's like to actually be trying and have it seem like life won't let you, but unfortunately I'm not trying and life again is not being conducive to my plans.

If worst comes to worst there is usually one or two chicks at all of the NA meetings I've gone too and the bars I've been to here don't seem to have normal women. Not that... aw nevermind. If I don't kill one bird maybe I'll get another

I never notice people at the meetings I go to having papers signed. I would think they'd be at the end of the meetings. Only person I ever saw in Noho who was probably court-ordered was the guy I see working at the head shop. Granted, the ones I go to are in Northampton; not Springfield or Holyoke(or as my fellow Puerto Ricans refer to them as: "Eh-preenfeel" and "Hullyuk" :P ).

If you go to holyoke meetings you will def see lots of people gettin papers signed and maybe even people in jail. When I was at howard st I got to go to like three or four meetings a week and always saw people with the papers.
