Lyrics Lyrics that appeal to you today... 2006-2023

"Hi everyone. Did you know that over the course of our lives we spend 38 days brushing our teeth? We spend 48 days making love and three full years sitting in traffic. We've each got one life on this Earth and we measure it in numbers. And that's why we wrote this song."

I spent one, two, three years
Curling my hair that's already curly -
Three years, thinking I look good in hats-
Four years, begging God to make my penis bigger-

Five long years, waiting for you

I spent one, two, three years
Hiding from people I don't wanna talk to -
Three years, thinking Maine was a town in Vermont -
Four years, trying to hold in my farts in public -

Five long years, waiting for you

You know, on this musical tour we've driven 500 miles and stayed in 82 hotels. I drive our folk bus at 15 miles per hour on the highway and I have 200 parking tickets. Last night I saw 5 shooting stars, and I slept with a man 32 years my senior.

I spent one, two, three years
Trying to impress my therapist -
Three years, pretending to be French BON JOUR -
Four years, with a goatee that said "I'm a virgin magician"

Five long years, waiting for you

I spent one thousands dollars
On a cat that scratched me right in the cornea -
Two thousand dollars on a boat that led to a divorce -
Three thou on a fine for showing my junk at a Little League game -

My last dollar, looking for my last you

I spent one, two years
Eating pizza in the dark like there was a gun to my head -
Three years, changing the diapers of a kid who emancipated from me -
Four years, pretending to be sick when I was in the army -

Five long years, waiting for you

Our group has been together for two decades. We've lost four additional members to cults and orthodox religion. We spend so much time together in the van we share everything: hairbrushes, hats, head lice. I dated him for twelve years, and I kissed her once, but I still think about it every day.

I spent eight, nine, ten years
Married to the first man who used his mouth -
Fifteen years, taking birth control to have sex with no one -
Eighteen years, raising a son who does stand-up about my paintings -

Five long years

I spent one, two, three weeks
Wearing a tampon I forgot I had in there -
Ten years, with a dog that turned out to be a rat -
Twelve hours, standing on a bridge saying "do it , you coward" -

Five long years, waiting for you

I spent one, two, three years
Having dinner with my family -
A hundred days laughing, and two hundred waiting in a line -
Five years, imagining a threesome with my bandmates -

Five long years, waiting for
Five long years, waiting for
I spent all my years, waiting for you

Don't Stay in School

I wasn't taught how to get a job
But I can remember dissecting a frog
I wasn't taught how to pay tax
But I know loads about Shakespeare's classics
I wasn't taught how to vote
They devoted that time to defining isotopes
I wasn't taught how to look after my health
But Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
I never spent a lesson on current events
Instead we studied the old American West
I was never taught what laws there are
I was never taught what laws there are
Let me repeat:
I was not taught the laws for the country I live in
But I know how Henry VIII killed ahis women:
Divorced, Beheaded, died
Divorced, Beheaded, survived
Glad I learned that instead of financial advice
I was shown the waves of different hues of light
But I was never taught my human rights
Apparently, there's thirty
Do you know them? I don't
Why can't we both recite them by what I know
Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary rocks
Yet I don't know squat about trading stocks
Or how money works at all, where does it come from?
How does the thing that motivates the world function?
Not taught to budget and disperse my earnings
I was too busy there rehearsing cursive
I didn't learn how much it cost to raise a kid
Or what an affidavit is
But I spent AGES on what the quadratic equation is
Negative B, plus-or-minus the square root of B squared minus 4AC over 2A
That's insane, that's absolutely insane
They made me learn THAT over basic First Aide?
Or how to recognize the most deadly mental disorders
Or diseases with preventable causes?
Or how to buy a house with a mortgage
If I could afford it?
Because abstract maths was deemed more important
Than advice that could literally save thousands of lives
But it's cool, 'cause now I can tell you if the number of unnecessary deaths cause by that choice was prime
I was never taught present day, practical medicines
But I know what the ancient Hippocratic Method is
I've got a headache, the pain is ceaseless
What should I try? Maybe some leeches?
Can we lteach about domestic abuse and the facts?
Or how to help my depressed friend with a mental state?
Um, no...but learn mental maths
Because you won't have a calculator with you every day...
The say it's not the kids, it's the parents that's the problem
Well if you taught the kids how to parent, well that's the problem solved then
All this advice about wearing a condom
But none about how to raise a kid when you actually want one
I'm only fluent in this language, for serious?
The rest of the world speaks at least two
Do you think I'm an idiot?
We chose the solar over the political system
So now, like a typical citizen, I don't know what I'm voting on
Which policies exist, or how to make them change
Mais oui, je parle un peu français
So at 18 I was expected to elect a representative
For a system I had never, ever, been presented with
But I won't take it
I'll tell everyone my childhood was wasted
And insist these pointless things don't stay in school

If you can't explain why a subject is applicable to most people's lives, that subject should not be mandatory.

Yesterday upon the stair
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away

But when I came home last at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn't see him there at all

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
Oh, how I wish he'd go away

Damien Rice - Older Chests

Older chests reveal themselves
Like a crack in a wall
Starting small, and grow in time
And we always seem to need the help
Of someone else
To mend that shelf
Too many books
Read me your favourite line

Papa went to other lands
And he found someone who understands
The ticking, and the western man's need to cry
He came back the other day, you know
Some things in life may change
And some things
They stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time

Older gents sit on the fence
With their cap in hand
Looking grand
They watch their city change
Children scream, or so it seems,
Louder than before
Out of doors, and into stores with bigger names
Mama tried to wash their faces
But these kids they lost their graces
And daddy lost at the races too many times

She broke down the other day, yeah you know
Some things in life may change
But some things they stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
Time, there's always time
On my mind
Pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
I’ll have to check this out. After hearing the acoustic solo version of a Damien Rice song I heard in the background of True Blood. I love the song but it kind of feels like being guilty really. I love the “rounds” in it - overlapping lyrics. When I saw it’s some popular song as a duet, a much more upbeat mood and a well crafted video - I don’t like that version at all. They aren’t the same song. I hadn’t even heard of him so to see his following, I can only imagine he has to be Top40 for me to have missed gaining popularity to the degree he has. That’s what’s a trip to me bc I can feel Like I possess vast and varied musical tastes but then some song like Redbone by Daniel Glover comes out while I’m usually still reeling from - This is America & finding out who the hell childish gambino is.

You know had I not watched some interviews, seen Danny Glover on SNL, saw his acting history/present, his education and so on - i think I would still be affected by This is America and i can bet that at least half those who just watched once through social media knew nothing and still don’t. With that complete into that dark abyss view of such a scene - such a white privilege fear - no knowledge of anything but this guy with a seeming Jamaican background murdering ppl saying hey get your money black man - that’s the whole image of the ABM, the angry black man when in reality, knowing who he actually is THEN This is America becomes a haunting work of pure artistic genius of a dystopian sort. His portrayal is completely awesome and i almost felt like even life might have been different post viewing something so powerful. Yet nothing changed. Great statement, though on ‘getting woke’ and comprehending maybe what it means from both sides.

There are *so many* versions of this song out there - all piano, all guitar, slow, fast - the duets. I think this version covers what I love about the song which are the lyrics and the individual alone with the rationalizing thoughts of reality passive aggression, if you asked me to think that much into it. Man I do love his own harmonizing and the rounds - I just love that in songs. :-)

Damien Rice acoustic I LOVE THIS song.
♥️💛💖💚💜🧡💙🧡💜💚💖💛❤️

Another song filled with ‘rounds’ plus multiple streams of single voice harmonies like two tracks of one voice making basically a symphony out of a few band members is the super talented ALT-J that sings Breezeblocks. I checked out an Awesome wave and could definitely appreciate the talent factor bc these guys are classically trained. I like since stuff that came out later … the one that is about a pool murder n but begins with zero one one zero one one - just like Saved by Zero from the 80s - that’s so cool to me. Btw I found an interview of the main singer of Saved by zero’s The Fixx and he says it was before computers were in the mainstream so his Saved by Zero had NOTHING to do with zeros and ones as in a binary language of basic numbers - it just turned out that way. He said it’s a constant question about the song. I’d almost like to think of it as prophetic since he had no knowledge at all about binary - I can choose to think about it like that OR wow he just pulled some term out of his ASS saved by zero … Huh?? Ok binary it is for me in which case. I love Saved By Zero which surpringly has a pretty dark video which i didn’t think had a thing to do with the originals song actually.

I liked having my own interpretation of the song previous to watching the music video. However - post my initial response. I think their video interpretation is worth seeing. I haven’t looked it up but I’d like to know if the video is exactly the story they tell or if it just fits the lyrics well.

(These guys are English so Breezeblocks are actually cinder blocks. And knowing that they’re English, goes on to explain some of the other terminology used in the lyrics below:

BREEZEBLOCKS
Alt-J

She may contain the urge to run away
But hold her down with soggy clothes and breeze blocks
Citrezene, your fever's gripped me again
Never kisses all you ever send are fullstops
LA LA LA LA
Do you know where the wild things go
They go along to take your honey
LA LA LA LA
Break down the weak
Build up breakfast now let's eat
My love my love, love, love

LA LA LA LA

Muscle to muscle and toe to toe
The fear had gripped me but here I go
My heart sinks as I jump up
Your hand grips my hand as my eyes shut

Do you know where the wild things go
They go along to take our honey
LA LA LA LA
Break down the weak
Build up breakfast now let's eat
My love my love love love
LA LA LA LA
She bruises cold she splutters pistol shots
But hold her down with soggy clothes and breeze blocks
LA LA LA LA
She's morphine queen of my vaccine
My love my love, love, love

LA LA LA LA

Muscle to muscle and toe to toe
The fear has gripped my but here I go
My heart sinks as I jump up
Your hand grips my hand as my eyes shut

She may contain the urge to run away
But hold her down with soggy clothes and breeze blocks
Germaline disinfect the scene
My love my love love love

Please don't go, I love you so my darling

Please don't go please don't go, I love you so I love you so
Please don't go please don't go, I love you so I love you so
Please break my heart
Please don't go please don't go, I love you so I love you so
Please don't go please don't go, I love you so I love you so
Please break my heart

Please don't go, I'll eat you whole
I love you so, I love you so (×8)

These are silly and brutish I suppose but I just fucking love these lyrics man by Danny Alexander or Danny Boone from rehab the band? He has a song that I didn’t hear until later in his career and he’s put out a lot of albums and a lot of music. The song is called I’m me if that’s OK with you and every line has just perfect rap symmetry in my opinion for a white dude from Atlanta Georgia with a little country twang …one of the lines he starts with

I’m a six pack a 12 pack a case of if you don’t get the fuck out my face
I went to school at motherfuck you
majored in kicking ass
I made the Dean’s list
and now I teach the class
there’s only two things that i ain’t tried
I ain’t gay and damn suicide
I try to do better than I am
and if I had one to give
then I’d give a damn.

I just love these lyrics. Good joke resume that beats the school of hard knocks.

It's not your fault
It's my own fault
I'm not human at all
I have no heart
It's not my fault
It's your own fault
I'm not human at all
I have no heart
It's not your fault
It's my own fault
I'm not human at all
I have no heart
It's not your fault
It's my own fault
I'm not human at all
I have no heart
It's my own fault
It's not my fault
I'm not human at all
I have no heart
At all
We have no heart at all

Milk, Milk, Lemonade

Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!

I used to think that my dick was where it's at
Used to be concerned that my booty was too fat
But now I know the truth and that worry has been shot
Big booty's what they want and big booty's what I got

Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!

Tits are old news, if you know what I mean
All the guys love my fudge machine
Look me in the eye
With your face and don't be shy
You say you don't like asses
'Cause I fart and break your glasses

Turd cutter, loaf pincher
Dookie maker, fudge machine
Cheek-tastic, booty-massive
Giant tookus, fudge machine

On my booty empire, the sun never sets
Take a shot, yeah, nuthin but net

Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made
I'm gonna make you scream and shout
For the part of my body where poo comes out!

This is where my poo comes out
This is where my poo comes out
This is where my poo comes out
This is where my poo comes out
Talkin' 'bout my fudge machine
Talkin 'bout my fudge machine
Talkin' 'bout my fudge machine
Talkin' 'bout my fudge machine

That's right, people. Ain't nothing better than a big, beautiful, sexy booty. But bottom line: no matter how fine the behind, you better call that onion what it really is: that's just a fudge machine.

Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
Milk, milk, lemonade
'Round the corner fudge is made!

This is where my poo comes out
This is where her poo comes out
This is where his poo comes out
This is where their poo comes out
This is where our poo comes out

This is what you think is hot?
This is what you think is hot?
This is what you think is hot?
Talkin' 'bout my fudge machine
This is what you think is hot?
This is what you think is hot?
This is what you think is hot?
Talkin' 'bout my fudge machine

It's where your poo comes out.

The Post War-Bend 2021

Lead by his intent
And incandescent mortar shells
This is how it is
He burns the air and leaves you cold

So bend my will down
When heavy carbons are steady now

When every single part
Testifies in my defense
We’re chasing out the dark
The wolves cry out and I confess

So bend my will down
When heavy carbons are steady
Bend my will

To feel
To feel right
To feel
To feel right

We mourn in shallow doubt
So close my eyes and take me therе
The bullet in the round
Still burns thе air and leaves you cold

So bend my will down
When heavy carbons are steady
Bend my will

To feel
To feel right
To feel
To feel right

So bend my will down
With heavy carbon

To feel
To feel right
To feel
To feel right

To feel

I post this far too often and I don't care:

All out times have come
Here but now they're gone

Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
(we can be like they are)
Come one, Baby
(don't fear the reaper)
Baby, take my hand
(don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly
(don't fear the reaper)
Baby, I'm your man

La la la la la
La la la la la

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone

Romeo and Juliet are together in eternity
(romeo and juliet)
Forty thousand men and women every day
(like romeo and julet)
Forty thousand men and women every day
(redefine happiness)
Another forty thousand coming every day
(we can be like they are)
Come on, Baby
(don't fear the reaper)
Baby take my hand
(don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly
(don't fear the reaper)
Baby, I'm your man

La la la la la
La la la la la

Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone

Came a last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn't go on
Then the door was opened and the wind appeared
The candles blew and the disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying "Don't be afraid
Come on, Baby"
And she ran to him
Then they started to fly
They looked backward and said goodbye
She had become like they are
She had taken his hand
She had become like they are
Come on, Baby
Don't dear the reaper

Dongs All Over the World

We're tired of sitting home while the guys have all the fun
So we're getting on a plane, gonna show 'em how it's done
Flying international, with one thing on our mind
And it's not the type of thing you can find in a travel guide
Not lookin' for art museums
Not lookin' for mausoleums
This ain't the trip to see 'em
We just want those
DONGS! All over the world!
London, Paris, Tel Aviv
Dongs, all over the world
Every woman's fantasy
Dongs, all over the world
Me llamo Nasty Girl
Dong, dong, dong, dong
Dongs all over the world

196 country's, now that's a lot of dongs
All I've packed is travel shampoo and 1500 thongs
Each dong is like a snowflake, except that it's a dong

And we've gotta catch 'em all like sexual pokemon
Filling up my passport, it's all about quantity
I'm a modern day Columbus and I claim the dong for me
Time to drink some water and rest our tired eyes
As soon as we get off the plain our eyes are on the prize
The prize ain't the Mona Lisa
Or the leaning tower of Pisa
Or the pyramids of Giza
The prize is the
DONG, all over the world
Venice, Shanghai, Venice Beach
Dongs, all over the world
50 hours without sleep
Dongs, all over the world
I que Nasty Girl
Dong, dong, dong, dong
Dongs all over the world

Here's a quick tip that ya need to know
When you're travelling the world with your girls in tow
Keep a tight schedule and you can't go wrong
You'll see none of the country, but all of the dong
9pm get off the plane
9:01 find the dong
9:02 destroy the dong
9:03 get back on the plane

Ladies, this is your captain speaking
It's now safe and mandatory to move about the cabin

So, do you live in Instanbul?
No, I'm actually an international Nasty Girl and my friends and I are doing every dong in the world
Oh...that's nice

DONGS! All over the world
Hong Kong, Florence, Philippines
Dongs, all over the world
Gimme, gimme, gimme, please
Dongs, all over the world
Je suis Nasty Girl
Dong, dong, dong, dong
Dongs all over the world

When You Believe, Mariah and Whitney (but not)

If you smokin' rock cocaine
And some skunky weed
And that batch of basement crank
Has caused your eyes to bleed
And your husband is a pain
And your latest album
Is sitting in
The half-off bin
Don't you stress
Tell the press oooh yeah

I swear to god I'm not insane
Though these voices in my brain
Tell me I'm the queen of Spain
And I fly a horse drawn-sleigh
To a spaceship where I pray
To a monkey made of clay
And his name
Is Jose
Nonetheless Im not insane

If you're aroused easily
By a man's nasty sweat
Or you lose it on tv
Like when I stripped on TRL
Take a good look at me
I kept it together
Although my weight
Does fluctuate
Here on out
Go ahead and shout

I swear to god I'm not insane
I'm engaged to a great dane
Fill my bootay, with champagne, yeah
All my shoes are made of hay
I work for the CIA
I invented Arbor day
I wear a hat
Made of bengay
Nonetheless I'm not INSANE

Making ducky faces in the mirror (quack)
From Percocet to meth and back
Easy A, Special K, but crack is whack
Pierce your cheeks, shave your head then mug and pout
Don't know what's all the fuckin' fuss about
Padded rooms while you scream and shout
Kick a guard in the nuts then you bust on out, bitch

Smoke this pipe
Get dick (uh huh)
Then nap (bye Felicia)

Psych hold's the T

Saying I'm ugly
Say I'm ugly
(You don't look that bad)

I think your comeback gig
Will be on "Intervention"

'Cause you smoked your SAG/AFTRA pension
Coke nose you're muggin'

The anaconda grow, the anaconda grow
The anaconda grow up to a quarter ton, hun
The green anaconda lives in the Amazon-a
And the Orinoco Rainforest in South America
They live in swamps and marshes and slow-movement streams
And they're the largest reptile when measured by weight
Now they're real, real, real
Eat pigs and birds and other reptiles
And larger ones can even prey on tapirs
And capybara and even small deer
This is a dope snake

By the way, seven days
That's how often they need to have a meal
Wrap around their prey and squeeze so hard to kill
On land got no skill but their swimming is trill
Underwater concealed, but you see their nostrils
Scientific name, Eunectes murinus
In 1758 named by Carl Linneaus
Sssssssss
Oh my gosh, thirty feet long
Oh my gosh, primarily nocturnal
Oh my gosh, found in Ecuador
Found in Ecuador
Found in, found in Ecuador

The male anaconda is a similar color
But sexual dimorphism means they're much smaller
Mating in the rainy season from April to May
Female laying down the pheromones to summon the mate
And they bang, bang, bang
Males come running and they competing
Press they cloaca up against her thing
Only the winner gets to copulate
It's called a breeding ball
By the way, the one who mates
He ain't even going to live another day
The female eats him and slithers away
Digesting his body while making those eggs
It's a long wait, half a year to gestate
Ovivupars, give birth to live young
And by the way, they smell with their tongue
Tongue-t-t-tongue-tongue-t-t-tongue-tongue...

...And we burn
His Hero Is Gone

Suffocate on self-taught hate, impending fate
The funeral pyre has been lit, all-consuming
Ceremonial fire has been lit
There's one way out but our souls have been
doused... So we stay, content to never learn
from past mistakes... AND WE BURN

Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou
Mon dieu qu'ils sont doux
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou

Le bruit des bisoux
Dans les buissons, sous le ciel du moi d'août
Les amoureux glissent à pas de loup
Comme les oiseaux ils ont rendez-vous
On l'entend partout

Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou
Mon dieu que c'est doux

Mais ditez-moi, savez-vous
(Zou bisou, bisou)

(Zou bisou, bisou, zou bisou, zou bisou)
(Mon dieu que c'est doux)
Ce que veut dire un zou bisou
(Zou bisou, bisou)
Ça veut dire je vous l'avoue
(Zou bisou, bisou)
Mais oui, je n'aime que vous
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou
Mon dieu que c'est doux
Mais pas besoin des buissons du mois d'août
Quand tu m'embrasses doucement dans le cou
Car c'est curieux, tu vois, je l'avoue
Ça me fait partout
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou
Mon Dieu que c'est doux
Zou bisou, bisou
Zou bisou, zou bisou
Des petits bisous

I saw an angel on my TV
Could I be dreaming? Someone pinch me
She had me at "hello, it's me"
You know who you are
Your smile could light up my darkest day
How many challenges you could have slayed
But they made you turn and way away

Va-len-tina
A mi me encanta Valentina
Como hermosa es tu sonrisa
Eres muy perfecta y bonita
Va-len-tina
Ella es solamente una heroina
Gia Gunn es la China mas Latina
Por que Blac Cyna no es Nina Bo'Nina?
Valentina, tomalo ahora esa cosa en tu boca
Esa cosa en tu boca
Favarito, favarito, baby
Valentina, este es un Lipsync
Como no entiendes?
Como no entiendes?
Favorito, Favo-yeah

Por favor
Me gustaria
Mantenerlo
A dios le pido
Y la virgen de Guadalupe
Somos las reignas de serpientes
Pero reinamos con amor

Rojita, rojita, mascarita
Codicioso, finito, finito
Tal vez no te guste
Tal vez no te guste
Pero me veo como Evangelista
Rojita, rojita, mascarita
Codicioso, finito, finito
Tal vez no te guste
Tal vez no te guste
Pero me veo como Evangelista

Va-len-tina
A mi me encanta Valentina
Como hermosa es tu sonrisa
Eres muy perfecta y bonita
Va-len-tina
Ella es solamente una heroina
Gia Gunn es la China mas Latina
Por que Blac Cyna no es Nina Bo'Nina?
Valentina, tomalo ahora esa cosa en tu boca
Esa cosa en tu boca
Favarito, favarito, baby
Valentina, este es un Lipsync
Como no entiendes?
Como no entiendes?
Favorito, Favo-yeah

Valentina, para tu M&Ms
Solamente rojas, solamente rojas
Favorito, favorito, baby
Valentina para su hermenes
Solamente rosas, solamente rosas

Va-len-tina
A mi me encanta Valentina
La planeta es en mucho peligra
Y este Presidente no es mia
No, no, no

Rojita, rojita, mascarita
Cordicioso, finito, finito
Solamente rojas
Solamente rojas
Rojita, rojita, mascarita

Life on Mars

It's a God-awful small affair
To the girl with the mousy hair
For her mummy is yelling "No!"
And her daddy has told her to go
But her friend is nowhere to be seen
So she walks through her sunken dream
To the seat with the clearest view
For she's hooked to the silver screen
But the film is a saddening bore
For she's lived it ten times or more
She could spit in eyes of fools
As they ask her to focus on
Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Oh man, look at those cavemen go
They're in the freakiest show
Take a look at the lawman beating up the wrong guy
Oh man, wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the bestselling show
Is there life on Mars?

It's on America's tortured brow
The Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow
Now the workers have struck for fame
'Cause Lenin's on sale again
See the mice in their million hoards
From Ibiza to the Norfolk Boards
Rule Britannia is out of bounds
To my mother, my dog and clown
But the film is a saddening bore
'Causer I wrote it ten times or more
It's about to be writ again
As I ask you to focus on
Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Oh man, look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show
Take a look at the lawman beating up the wrong guy
Oh man, wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the bestselling show
Is there life on Mars?

The Name Game [AHS version]

"Sister Jude? It's me. Lana. Lana Banana?...Do you know your name?"

The Name Game
Judy!
Judy, Judy, bo budy
Banana fanna fo fudy
Fee fi mo mudy
Judy!

Lana!
Lana, Lana, bo banna
Banana fanna fo fana
Fee fi mo mana
Lana!

Come on, everybody
I say, now let's play a game
I bet ya I can make a rhyme
Out of anybody's name
The first letter of the name
I treat it like it wasn't there
But a B or an F
Or an M will appear
And then I say Bo add a B
And then I say the name
And a banana fanna and a fo
Then I say the name again
With an F very plain
And a fee, fi and a mo
And then I say the name again
With an M this time
And there isn't any name that I can't rhyme

Pepper!
Pepper, Pepper, bo bepper
Banana fanna fo Fepper
Fee fi mo Mepper
Pepper!

But if the first two letter are ever the same
I drop them both and say the name, like
Bob, Bob, drop the B's Bo Ob
For Fred, Fred, drop the F's Fo Red
Or Mary, Mary, drop the M's Mo Ary
That's the only rule that is contrary

Okay, now say "bo"

Bo!
Then Tony with a B
Bony!
Then "Banana fanna fo"
Banana fanna fo!
Then you say the name again with an F very plain
Fony!
Then a fee, fi and a mo
Fee fi mo!
Then say the name again with an M this time
Mony!
And there isn't any name that you can't rhyme

Kit!
Kit, Kit bo bit
Banana fanna fo fit
Fee fi mo mit
Kit!

The naaaaaammmeee gaaammeeee
