i have a high tolerance to benzo's due to very bad anxiety and panic i take 5mgs of klonopin everyday and when wanted an pop xanax like candy and untill im about 3-4 deep i start feeling barred out but i was given a script for 150mg lyrica and i took the capsule and im fucked up right now, im stumbling when i walk and cant really see straight, i feel blacked out, has anyone had any experience like this

Thank you Oxide for hearing me out and re-opening this.

I was recently put on Lyrica for anxiety after benzos and antidepressants failed. Lyrica works wonders for anxiety. It's really changed my life for the good. I have gone from a social recluse to a social butterfly.

That being said...Lyrica is a drug to be respected. My dose is around 200 - 300mg about every other day. I've tried 500mg once and it fucked me up in the same manner that you described. Stumbling around like I was drunk and really quite dizzy.

Tell your Doc to drop back your script to 75mg as it sounds like 150mg is too much.

I am one who uses lyrica for anxiety, and no matter what you will have some dizziness in the first couple of doses. I found the beggining was the best part of the whole experience.

You will get dulled out sometimes from it. It will make your libido become bi-polar"ish"... Sometimes you will be horny as fuck...

...And at some times, you just will not get into the mood even with the most beautiful pair of titties all in your face.

Once you reach a stable dose, tolerance is of no issue, as it does not directly agonize GABA.

It is the perfect long term treatment for anxiety.

I enjoy dosing around 900mg of the stuff and stumbling around in wasted bliss.

thank you Oxide, i am new to the site and wasnt quite sure where to put this, i appreciate everyones responses. so i took the one 150 mg capsule earlier and like i said was feeling completley out of it but aybe 2 hours i was 100% functionable and i actually felt great, i was just out with a group of people , a good amount of which i didnt know and felt completely comfortable which is not normal for me and its a great sign. ive tried everything under the sun and now that the initial buzz wore off i just feel a sence of over all bliss. when do you all take your dose? right now i only take 1 a day but in a week my dr said bump it up to two a day so 300 mgs, split doses?
