I was wondering if anyone here can compare how these two work in terms of (social) anxiety.
I was on klonopin a lot of life so if anyone can compare lyrica to klonopin, plz do so!

I have never tried Lyrica before, but I assume it can be just as effective as clonazepam can, based on the descriptions of Lyrica's effects he shared with me.

I'd try a Lyrica dosage, see what it does for your anxiety, and re-evaluate from there.

lyrica all the way. not as addicted, and the withdrawals are not as bad as benzos. lyrica makes me want to talk, which is why i fucking love it for social anxiety. my social anxiety stems from idk what the fuck to talk about or sometimes i freeze up in social situations where there are more than 2-3 people. i am not good with larger groups of people like 4-5+. like parties with 20 people i start to get panic attacks, but not on lyrica!!!

with lyrica large social situations dont scare me, i will be talking me ass off and having a good time. the good thing is that unlike benzos, lyrica isn't sedating and doesnt give you a loss of inhibitions like benzos do. i always get a case of the "fuck its" on benzos, and when i take benzos i am usually so zonked to even want to talk, unless i am on amphetatmine as well..

poignantly, lyrica cost beacoup dollars!!! it is very very expensive, so if you dont have deep pockets than go with a benzo that has low abuse risk and is the least sedative of all the benzos such as clorazepate, librium, and oxazepam. all benzos are sedating, but these 3 benzos, clorazepate(odesmethyldiazepam), chlordiazepoxide (librium), and oxazepam, have a unique pharmacology that make them the least sedating and least addicting. also, these 3 benzos have the least-harsh withdrawal out of all other benzos.

^This pretty much covers it.

The way I see it, pregabalin (lyrica) is much more superior to benzodiazepines for social anxiety. The only two draw backs, are tolerance and price. The former will hopefully be fixed when/if pregabalin's successor is to be released. There are also generics of lyrica becoming available in some parts of the world since pfizer's patent expired, so that might be a solution to the price issue.

awesome im glad to hear [:
thanks for your opinons guys!
last couple of days ive been getting a single klonopin 1mg from friends and its helped ALOT! thinking of buying xanax (cuz i cannot find a klonopin connect) untill I get the lyrica in
I just dont think i should go back to benzos.

Plus I've heard that benzos mess up music appreciationn
and lyrica does the opposite.
Any opinions on this?
And @lacster, did yu ever feel this social axiety relief on gabapentin
