Lyrica + Soma

Okay, gang...some of you have probably seen my posts about Soma and Lyrica--here's an update and a request for feedback: I did source Lyrica, rx'd at a total of 600mg/day. I also have Somas, 350mg/pill. I've been taking Soma off/on for a couple years, and really like the effects, both pain relief and mild euphoria. In the past three days, I've been using both--a lot. As in 300mg Lyrica and 350 Soma in the a.m., redosing Soma a couple of times through the day, and today I'm up to a total of 1200mg Lyrica and 2100mg Soma. I know I'm doing way too much, it just seems like the amount I needed to take to get a "good" feeling. I'm wondering if others have used both drugs together, and if others have used high doses like this?

Here's my follow up: It wasn't pleasant that night. I certainly didn't feel high--at all--but I was super nervous that I had overdosed. I spent a long time on here looking for advice. Felt kind of hung over the next day, and was worried enought about how much of either drug might still be left that I took nothing. Since then, I sometimes go without anything, and sometimes I have the "top end" for me: 600mg Lyrica and 8 350mg Soma (that's still a lot). Sometimes I get a nice high as well as relief from the bad pain in my neck/shoulder, sometimes nothing. If I don't take either for more than 24 hours I get a "rebound" kind of feeling, where the original neck pain becomes more intense than ever. I know I'm supposed to take the Lyrica consistenly, and the Soma only as needed, but I'm working towards finding what exactly works for me.
I've heard if you take too much Lyrica (pregabablin) it blocks your Gaba receptors and you get no feeling/reaction from anything. Is that true?

Well in my personal experiences I really enjoy lyrica and soma although I have never mixed the 2 together because soma was a 1 time deal because a friend gave it to me once and I think I took 10 350mg somas and it totally recked me I felt the effect of being totally drunk and then I don't remember anything else about that night I woke up the next day between my couch and ottoman without my shirt on and I looked for it for a whole hour before I found it in my metal shop on the drill press with holes In it from cigarette burns and that was my experience with soma but on to lyrica.... That's probably in my top 5 favorite drugs ever.... What I do is take them when I fill the prescription and empty all 90 capsules into 8 pill parachutes and that's 800 mgs each and since tolerance builds so quick with those things I found that I can only take them every other day witch might be your problem with them not doing anything to you... But they also make me feel very numb and drunk-ish but still ok as dave chappelle would say "you ain't crisp, but you'll function" and its just a overall great drug but you can't take it everyday or they won't do shit... Well that's enough rambling but remember be safe and know your limit!
