I'm getting mixed reports. Never tried lyrica before but some people say it hits in 5 minutes wheninsufflated and some people say it's pointless. So what's the difference in bioavailability? Does it really hit in five minutes? How long does it last when snorted vs taken orally? Any difference in overall intensity/effects?

Snorting wouldn't change the danger threshold would it? From what I can tell this drug is virtually impossible to hurt yourself with, is that accurate? I'm only planning on 500mg or so.

Thanks!

why would you snort lyrica? such a waste...definitely swallow those bad boys

^^ will taking lyrica after eating alter the amount of the drug absorbed? or just the velocity at which the drug is absorbed? i just took some lyrica with some tramadol after eating a decent sized meal...and will taking tramadol after eating affect howmuch is metabolized through CYP2D6?

It will most likely alter the absorption rate, so if you eat it on a full stomach it will take longer to kick in and the "hit" will most likely be more drawn-out and less intense.

No, unless what you ate has CYP2D6 activity. The fact that you have a full stomach will most likely slow the tramadol's absorption just like it will slow the lyrica's absorption.

500mg of lyrica is quite a pile to snort :) Hopefully no one asks about injecting it.

I'm not a fan of Lyrica. It makes me feel drunk, but it's absolutely amazing for anxiety and awesome for opiate withdrawal in my experience. It takes forever to start working (for me) unless I snort it and snorting it is like snorting soot. It makes me gag and if I do too much in one go, I'll hurl. I normally take the capsules apart and swallow two 150mg capsules and snort 150mg.

Maybe it is my imagination, but snorting Lyrica makes it hit me faster. I don't know if it's any stronger, but it certainly seems faster. Oral dosing sometimes takes hours and hours for me to feel anything. The effects of Lyrica also often carry on into the next day. As stated previously, I don't like the effects of Lyrica, but it's great for anxiety caused by opiate withdrawal. And snorting is frakking disgusting.

I have a question. I know some opiate abusers who have been using for twenty some years, and LOVE lyrica, they like to get really trashed on it. I have a very high opiate tolerance, how many mg's does it take to get real fucked up on lyrica? And how does it mix with suboxone and klonopin?

Lyrica can be snorted, but is is cut so badly for those capsules that is is literally grams of powder to snort in order to get in the recreational range of it.

You will clog up and have a terribly nasty nasal drip.

You and everyone else needs to realize that it is best to put a small dose of a benzodiazepine type drug along with it to make it a stronger experience.

What people also don't know is Lyrica is really bad for your kidneys at doses that most experienced users of this drug use.

Kidney failure is not uncommon at such large doses from the sheer volume of the drug in your system while abusing.

Oral BA is >90%, Lyrica is actually actively taken up in the gut, and as others have said, it's a huge amount of stuff. Oral is definitely best.
