Lyrica in the U.S.?

ok so i just saw my new psych today and i was prescribed welbutrin and gabapentin...even though i insisted on trying lyrica, the psych was like it won't be supported by your healthcare, i can't prescribe it for anxiety blahh blahh, and so gave me gapapentin....

...anyways just wanted to see if anyone else has lyrica prescibed to them for anxiety and what think about gabapentin vs lyrica...

I am nearly positive a frequent poster on here, K'd Out in Az, has experience with Lyrics. IIRC, he used it to help kick a benzo habit. I'm sure he could tell ya a lot about it; shoot him a pm.

I have only second hand knowledge of this.

However, a friend of mine who lives in Cali was on gabapentin for anxiety. I had been on it for nerve pain. I had no idea it was even used for anxiety until she mentioned it. She then was moved to pregabalin (lyrica) for her anxiety. She says it works better, but she doesn't like how much sleeping she does on it.
