I know this sounds crazy, but 600 mg of lyrica along with 300 mg tramadol is one hell of a euphoric high. Has anyone else tried this? And are there any dangers I should know about? (I know tram can cause seizures, but Lyrica is an anti-convulsant, so I figure I'm safe) By the way, don't knock this til you try it. I feel on top of the world with this combination.:D

Weird, as for me they're very different.

When I had no tolerance I used to love taking 400mg of Tramadol, gave me a great buzz.

Lyrica on the hand is... not so much of a sedative, but for me it feels more of a dissociative. I lose a lot of coordination etc... I've only got 16x25mg Lyrica's left... No Tramadol so might find some of that and give it a go.

I've mixed them quite a few times but nowhere close to that dose. The highest I've done is 150mg Lyrica and 200mg tramadol. I can't even imagine 600mg of Lyrica even by itself, 300mg gives me a decent high but I hate the vision problems it causes me.

I will say, I used to wonder how doctors could by scripting the doses of Lyrica they do for pain conditions, but it only took me a couple days to find out when I started taking it on a daily basis. Still, here and there, if I take a 150 % to 200 % my usual dose, it gets me nice. I will say that I did agree with Rybee in how Lyrica felt like a dissociative euphoriant more than anything else when I was taking it in lower doses w/ no tolerance; but, now, it has lost much of that effect, which I frankly enjoyed a great deal. It used to really fuck me up in a way nothing else really could, save for maybe Neurontin.

LOL

You are one of those people...

Your tolerance will indeed fuck you out of this enjoyment.

The tramadol is different...

You can still get significant mood boost,

Lyrica is an anticonvulsant and used to treat restless leg syndrome, however I've found when taking high doses (1 - 2g) my legs can sometimes go mental when lying down. (Has that happened to anyone else?) Tramadol is known to cause convulsions at 400mg, these drugs will cause synergistic amplification (make each other stronger) so be careful when mixing them as risk of seizures may be increased I'm not too sure. I have mixed 400mg with about 1g Lyrica and it was pretty awesome, I don't remember any negative effects apart from a fucked comedown. Keep in mind tolerance plays a huge role

No offence Spacebean^ but you are misinformed. These two substances one I am pretty sure of and the other i know inside out as i am an employee of said manufacturer, so i say with confidence they do not increase potency of each other which synergistic amplification does not mean anyway, rather they work side by side and yes synergise (Play well together).

As said elsewhere for me: 200mg Pregabalin
200mg Tramadol
200mg Quinine Sulphate

Absolute Heaven, rivals an Oxy 40mg or better.

Have fun stay safe. Please ask if you are not sure.

What if a tolerance of tramadol is high. For instance up to 20×50mg caps up to 40×50mg caps at once. Adding one 5 mg diazepam does no harm (gives a pleasant effect). Would one 75 mg lyrica have the same effect or similar?

Wow, 40 tramadol tabs AT ONE GO!! There was a time that I took 40X50mgs in a day, but never at once and that amount was only for a few months. Now I can take 600-700mgs of tramadol and 450mg of lyrica and get in a very nice mood, very nice! But as some have mentioned, tolerance will usually kick in with lyrica so two or three times a month is usually my limit. But it is very nice.

Lyrica isn't the most effective anti-epileptic under the sea, it is actually used as an adjunctive.

I'm just saying, by no means is it safe to take a half gram of tramadol because you have a poorly understood analog of a poorly u err stood drug(and misunderstood, gabapentin never had any friends, all the other GABAerfics never let him outs far as dangers, you're current dose is ok, but you never really gain tolerance to the atypical effects of tramadol, so be careful not to carelessly escalate your dose. Tramadol just isn't the safest drug to abuse.

and taking 49 tramadol is insane, FTR.

Please DO NOT mix quinine and tramadol, quinine is a 2D6 inhibitor, therefore it will reduce the amount of tram converted into desmethyltramadol, thus reducing the opioid effects, whilst increasing the SNRI effects.

Tranadol is a prodrug, is had no (appreciable) affinity for Mu receptors on it's own, so it has to be conveyed for the "fun effects". This dose of quinidine would essentially reduce recreational value, while increasing adverse effects.(and thus toxicity).

Guess the manufacturer didn't warn you about that, eh?
