Lyrica and Hydrocodone potentiation

Hello, I want to know if I should take the Lyrica and Hydro's at the same time or should I take the hydro's first and then the lyrica or the other way around? (lyrica first then the hydro's). I'm asking because yesterday I took 300 mgs of lyrica (first time I'm using lyrica) and 20 mgs of hydro (Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen) and after about 1 hour I felt the drugs (or at least the hydro's) were starting to kick in. I've read that lyrica is really good at potentiating opiates but after about another hour, after it kicked in, I just fell asleep. I do know ,however, that the lyrica DID work because when I woke up, I felt dizzy and it lasted for quite a few hours. Today (Sunday) I took five 5-325 hydro's and 500 mgs of lyrica and it's already 2:42 am and the effects of the hydro's if wearing off, but I didn't feel it any stronger. Any advice on when I should take the lyrica and the hydro's or the hydro's and the lyrica? Please!!

When starting Lyrica it tends to cause headaches and make you sleepy. The 300mg's of Lyrica and 20mg's of hydrocodone were simply too much together and it put you to sleep. And today you increased the Lyrica even more.

I would try a lower dose of Lyrica, maybe 150mg's, along with the hydrocodone. I would even wait a couple of days before you try again. Lyrica is an easy drug to build a tolerance.

Another thing to do is maybe use the Lyrica alone. I found that the side effects went away really fast for me and on day 4 I took 300mgs of Lyrica and it had some nice effects by mellowing me out. The next day I added 20mg's of oxycodone to the mix and had a GREAT time!! So just drop the Lyrica dose down and try again, or up the Lyrica and take it by itself.

Either way have a great time.

Take the Pregabalin (Lyrica) at least 1 - 1 & 1/2 hours before your Hydrocodone.

Even though the literature states different. It takes me at least that amount of time before I can begin to feel the effects of the Pregabalin. Another thing, if you don't have any tolerance to Pregabalin then 300mg your first few times is quite a high dose and would probably spin you out and put you sleep even without using any Opiates.

Have fun and stay safe. ;)
