Lunesta (eszopiclone): any recreational value?

I found Zopiclone quite recreational as well. It's not really that fun though lower doses are more enjoyable.

I had 15mg mixed with kush and started tripping over things feeling very drunk.

My buddy took 45mg and tumbled down his stairs...

Ambien on the other hand is much better
 
very old thread i know. but my experience so far with lunesta has been been pleasant, much more predictable than ambien. havent blacked out on them as i have with ambien either. i eat 8-10 mgs and i felt...very comfortable in any situation. ive not drank heavy on it, dont feel the need too. but have had 6-8 beers(pints) while on 8-10mgs. thats not much booze for me as 20+ pints a day can become the norm. just makes me feel good. im sure my tolerance will rise, but for now, this combo puts me were i need to be. i see no need to change.

In this case, it appears we react to Lunesta in a similar fashion.

By far, the majority of people I've spoken to about this drug think it's garbage compared to their usual choice (various Benzodiazepines).

As for me, for reasons unknown, all Benzos have close to zero so called 'recreational value,' yet I continue to experience a moderate euphoria (a pleasant head buzz) which I don't seem to develop a tolerance to whenever I use ~8 or more milligrams at once. I do however develop a tolerance to the sedative effect of the drug, and stopping completely after using it for a couple weeks or more is difficult to say the least.

Edit - It's also the best combo with THC, I find.

I've never tried Lunesta, but as someone who takes Ambien regularly, I will say that the feeling I get from it, while not a "high" IMO, is definitely enjoyable...perhaps not as much as some benzodiazepines, but yeah. So I can definitely relate to finding some value in "z-drugs", as far as these drugs producing some good feels and not just knocking you out.
