Lumpy morphine.

I was cooking up a 60mg morphine and it got really lumpy and blob like. Waste of $10. Anyone know why this occurs and how to make it more liquid. I crushed it up pretty damn decent and put about 60 units of water in...whats wrong?

Did you get it in salt form, or already in solution?

It was in pill form and I crushed it up.

That happened too when my friend heated up the MS contin - 30mg. I think a little stirring with the tip of your rig (careful not to barb it!) should loosen some of the clumps. However, you should expect it to be a little gooey.

Yours was all nasty because there was still wax left in your final product, something you definitly don't want to put in your veins.

If I recall correctly, you want to use sterilized cold water, and just crush and mix...don't heat, and you will avoid getting the wax into solution. Same goes for OC.

^^ You wont avoid, you will lessen the wax in the final product...

Generally pills are quite bad to inject, and time release are the worst.

Also, if you can get your hands on a pill filter, do so.
(They have them in melbourne needle exchanges for $1, they attatch to 3mL syringes. I'm guessing they're availble everywhere, don't know. Just contact your local harm min. group and ask about them)
Although they won't make shooting pills 100% safe (nothing will) they do greatly reduce the amount of solids getting inside you, which does make it alot safer than without one.
