Lump on arm after coke shot????

I just shot some coke and I didn't miss. I drew blood back and I felt the high...I've missed numerous times before so I know what it feels like and looks like..
A couple minutes after shooting I noticed a lump a little bit bigger then a quarter right where I shot up. It doesn't hurt, but its also not numb. It's a little red but not extremely noticeably. It's also a little hot to the touch.

I don't understand why this happened. I used clean water and a brand new needle. I didn't miss. And the vein was a good vein. What could this be?? And why did it happen? I've only been using for 6 months so I don't know much about it...should I be worried??

could be that you missed or maybe something that the coke had in it that caused a very minor allergic reaction maybe it had a diff cut
could be the coke as you never get the same product twice in a row
if you feel its a concern seek medical help

It could be some minor irritation due to you just moving the needle slightly and missing just a drop of the solution. it could also be a mild reaction to a bad cut or something similar. Really it's hard to tell in it's current state I would say it's nothing to worry about and will probably go away within a few days. Keep an eye on it though and if it persists beyond a few weeks, gets larger, becomes painful etc. seek a doctors opinion on it. Occasionally with Iv drug use though you will just have a little weird side effect that your not quite sure how to explain. For example I had a fever for maybe 2 hours a few days ago a few hours after a shot of heroin. It came on fast, did not steadily get worse and then dissapeared and I was fine. But yeah keep an eye on it.
