Although I was alive when Mandrax (UK version of ludes) was still in use but before I was old enough to know about it, it had been withdrawn. Can I ask how many 300mg 'ludes' people would take on a night out? I've found a place in Japan that is offering a derivative and I am wondering about buying 1g. It isn't exactly methaqualone, the methyl of the toluene ring is replaced by a trifluoromethyl group and they claim it's stronger.

Who knows - it's all a little too vague for me and I refuse to be ripped off - but if it IS as great as people say, I would like to try it. I would presume that any patent is in Japanese so I haven't looked. They are asking quite a lot (can I say how much?) but if it's more potent, maybe it isn't the rip-off it seems.

With thanks,
CC

I've tried this ethaqualone RC. It was pretty weak, but reports I've read about methaqualone said that it didn't come close to the real stuff. Most reports indicate 300mg methaqualone would do just fine as a starter dose for someone without tolerance. Best to work your way up with these things. Especially when it's supposedly stronger than methaqualone.

I'd start with no more than 150mg personally if I were to buy it.

To answer your question; no you can't post any prices on bluelight.

unfortunately no prices here, and unless you know exactly what chemical it is its hard to say how strong it could be.

Hi, The IUPAC is 2-(fluoromethyl)-3-(2-methoxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one

I just received 20 tablets of alleged Mandrax from a source in South Africa. It is a brown hard will pressed pill, with a white stamped embossment on one side.
As a aging disco druggie, I took the real Canadian Mandrax, often, called limely ludes, a light green non-round pill, and it was stronger than death in the early
1980's, equal to USA William H Rorer 300mg Methaqualone, with the "714" embossment, or later, the Lemmon 714 (300mg Ludes). I have tried the imported
Columbian Cartel late Pablo Escobar imported Quaaludes during 1979, 1980 thru 1981, and they were the only "Bootleg" methaqualone, that equaled the pharmaceutical grade USA "Quaalude" "Somnafac" "Parest" and "Sopor". At the beginning of 1982 until Ludes were outlawed by the USA Congress, beginning January
1, of 1984, all bootleg ludes were counterfeit, 50% garbage, or, 50mg on average of high grade Diazepam, but no methaqualone in them. Outside the USA, Ludes
could be had in Europe, as recent as late 2006 (Switzerland), and were abundant, by legal prescription in all of the 1990's in Spain.

I have been ripped off today, I tested 1/2 of a alleged 400mg bootleg Mandrax, and I felt nothing. 3 hours later I took the other 1/2 tablet, and again, I feel nothing, but disappointment, and I am out US $xxx from a bait and switch supplier, whom I lean on for Pfizer Halcion and Generic Zolpidem, who has never let me
down, but, offers 4 versions of highly diluted, perfect copies, of alprazolam, and the Roche Valium, that, do nothing for me. I have a rare USA script from my Dentist to compare the Valium with, and it is night and day, from yet another IOP with bait and switch tactics. Methaqualone, was finally officially withdrawn legally, after a 41 year production run, from Basil, Switzerland, the capsule called "toquilone" about 5 years ago. I guess I was a sucker, trying this deal, after 30 years of total
abstinence, from Methaqualone.

Ludes are coming back? I don't know how to feel about this.

Hopefully if you've any poppers you could always jumpstart my heart - or party later.

Yeah, I've seen etaqualone being sold by a very small number of vendors; I'm guessing the others only offer it to "advanced customers". I haven't exactly seen it making a big splash on the RC scene, and the prices are cheap, meaning in all probability it's not selling. I was tempted to get a big bag, but decided against it, owing to some very disappointing trip reports, and the fact it's cross-tolerant with benzos.

Back in the day, ludes and barbs were very dangerous drugs, causing addiction and overdose in high numbers, so maybe the apparent obscurity of etaqualone is probably a good thing.
