Tony Iommi (lead guitar-Black Sabbath), did Quaaludes n Blow, while the drummer and Ozzy Osbourne got fucked up on booze.

Elvis incluided 300mg Quaaludes, along with Valium, Valmid, Placidyl, several Barbiturates-Tuinal, Nembutal, Seconal, Butabarbital in his 2x nightly envelope of "attack pak 1" "attack pak 2" some hours later, sleep regeime, after a day on Dexedrine, Biphetamine, Desbutal, Dexamyl. He loved his Dilaudids too-pity i am not a patient of DR Nick and half of thoes pills are history

Dusty Springfield liked to do Quaaludes with wine-Ludeing out.

They were VERY popular, and thanks to this, we have lost great med?

Quaalude were gorilla pills ! No euphoric quotient ! Fall down stairs, wreck vehicles, pass the fuck out and remember little . Why is someone digging up third hand accounts of ancient celebrity's drug fuckedness?

I was gunna try etaqualone as it is pretty close and there are some savvy chinese people offering it but some guy on here ended up in a come for three days from less than a gram so I dont know. He mixed with benzos though who knows.

I heard they offered less euphoria than any benzo. Also side effects include "talking in tongues" according to Robin Williams stand up!

I dunno, i'd try them i suppose but the risk of an od is supposed to be high & it's supposed to just feel like a few shots of liquor in a pill.

Out of curiosity have you tried them op? Has anybody here under 40 tried them?

I have had ludes, but only with alcohol, not other drugs involved. And no it didn't make me "super horny" and it was quite euphoric in my opinion. It actually feel a lot like a benzo. But without the alcohol, they aren't nearly as fun, whereas I love benzos on their own.

What was the point of this question anyways?

I'm 33 and did Madrax which was methquaalone 250mg plus 1 or 2 mg of some other drug which made Mandrax "a different formulation" than regular quaaludes plus it was 50mg less methqualone,so it stayed around longer than the regular "ludes" at least in Mexico till the late 1980's and i did some in 92 that had been saved in an airtight bottle, decent buzz with blow, felt like i was gonna pass out without the cocaine tho...done placidyls in 1995 and they were still somewhat commonly precribed to one chick i knew who was much older than me of course but the placidyls were basicly sleeping pills i believe...anyway i have done Seconal,tuinals,Nembutals,phenobarbital,barbital in fioricet,etc..most barbs are not much fun except the tuinals and barbital,nembutals and seconals,the phenobarbital was for sleep and took a few hours to work,and it did put me to sleep,,,I dunno why we have this post as most Barbituates are Schedule 2 except phenobarbital,and fioricet with the barbital they are both schedule 3 i believe,anyway they were good with coke , the Madrax i only did 3 or 4 times and I did coke every time so I would not fall out asleep...I prefer Xanax to barbs ,but one pill i like that is hard to get is Miltown which has meprobamate,a sedative popular back in the 50's till the 80's i guess , I have done the generic ones and Equinil i think is the name of a pill with meprobamate in it,,pretty fun in low doses, still I prefer about 4 mg of Xanax and 4 or 5 Somas , even though I pass out off the combo in a few hours or do not remember a lot of what happened it's a fun combo,altho never to be mixed with alcohol,of course i never really drink at all except when out partying and usually high on uppers and or doing coke also...and Elvis was into Desoxyn mainly-methamphetamine hcl tablets...moreso than the other uppers altho I am sure he did them all....but thats a long ass time ago.....lol...
