Thoughts? planning on doing this for my friends 18th birthday. Any rides you recommend? Disney Land and California Adventure.

Well, it's a matter of taste but personally I think you could find a better setting for a trip. Standing in a long line with children around doesn't really sound like fun.

Hahaha i know, Ill be with friends and all of us will be tripping lol. I think we can entertain our selfs lol

If you can handle that much commotion then it could be great.
Personally I fucking hate rides to begin with, so on LSD I would be shitting my god damn pants.
If you're a thrill seeker though I could see it being amazing.
Definitely spring for the express tickets or whatever they're called, saved my family hours in line.

I recently took 2C-B (a LOT) and MDMA at a waterpark, it was AMAZING. I don't know why people are being so close minded here, it's fucking great. At a dry park, it would be even better... then you can just put on headphones and drown all the little kid screaming out, lol

just be careful not to dose too high, personally something like 2C-B that isn't as much of a mind-fuck would be a much better idea

Agreed, I have experience with taking LSD to Six Flags (which was cool, not very crowded there and had good fun with friends) and a high dose of 2C-B together with a large group of people (I didn't know a lot of them, none of them were very good friends actually) in a kind offairytale themed park, and it was bordering on too much. So considering it is hard to judge the setting before you are actually there ... taking anything more potentially mind-fucky than something like 2C-B would be pushing your luck. I would definitely never take something like mushrooms, that would potentially be torture. Deep but rational ones like LSD or 2C-E would be pushing it or hit or miss... better is to take a milder one or a low dose. Seriously!

Here is our thread on it if you want to read about other people's experiences and opinions:

Sounds like hell, the whole "carnival" aspect of it would for me lead to a terrible trip, like the quintessential bad trip from the 60's of clowns and mirrors and all that sort of stuff.

Also, some people (including myself) have an extreme dislike for unclean environments when tripping. Being in a place as dirty as disneyland would really bother me, I'd probably end up not wanting to touch anything and washing my hands all the time (might just be my OCD being brought out though).

might not make for entirely bad trip, but I'd say uncomfortable definitely.

I guess if you're set on doing this, make sure it's clear with your friends before, that if anyone feels uncomfortable or isn't liking whats going on there, to not hesitate to speak up about how they're feeling. The pressure that everyone paid to be there, and not wanting to ruin the day with one's own feelings, would push one to hold these concerns back and make for an awful time.

OH and sunglasses are ESSENTIAL for tripping in public places, I tripped at a music festival this summer and the sunglasses definitely can help keep your sanity when there are simply way too many people around. like a lil hiding place you can go to in order to take a breather:)

Honestly, and this may just be me, it sounds like an aweful idea, but for a different reason than others have expressed here. From my understanding, the Disney parks are known for having brutal and merciless security guards that are known for jumping on anyone suspicious who might 'tarnish the name of the Disney Corporation.' Of course this is a good thing in the sense that they are on their guard for pedophiles, kidnappers, and the like, but I have heard stories of drunk/stoned/tripping individuals being grabbed up and subjected to brutal, multi-hour interrogations that border on violating the basic human rights of the 'suspect.' God forbid some parent overhears some teenager say 'I'm so high, dude...' and sues Disney for corrupting the minds of her children by allowing 'pushers' into the park... To me, the idea of being grabbed up by something that borders on being a PMC and being subjected to an interrogation/psychological torture session by a group that does not have any care for your legal rights seems terrifying at the best of times, let alone while under the influence of psychedelics... That's just me though...

This. And headphones too. And take a low dose, please.

lol well now that you've planted that thought in the guys head now

I think California Adventure would be pretty cool tripping, especially if you have a group of people in a similar state. Screw the naysayers, if you never take any risks you'll never do anything fun.

I do think Disneyland probably isn't the best choice, but I'll certainly be dosing at any theme parks I go to
