being lucky is not what got me here
i worked fucking hard for years
fighting challenges and fear

i may enjoy their distant comapany
but unlike my friends eyes these stars will fade
my role is accompanied by thrills
but is more challenging then your average trade

you may say i'm negative and bitter
but my pesimism has saved lives
taken risks to protect and provide
felt hapiness in well earnt cries

think twice before you follow me
I'm not heading somewhere safe
i have confidence in more then myself
