luck with dxm powder?

i am looking to try dxm for the first time. i am an experienced user of many different drugs and have done research on dxm.
i am wondering if there are a lot of users of powdered dxm out there? i figure its better to work with a pure compound.
any suggestions?

Just measure out a dose, stick it in some capsules, and toss it down the hatch.
But, since it's your first time, just buy some cough syrup with only dextromethorphan hydrobromide listed as an active ingredient. That way, if you don't like the high, you won't have 30 grams of useless powder sitting around.
If you already have the powder, do not snort it! Do not take it without capsules, as it tastes much worse than any cough syrup.
You won't find too many DXM users as most people tend to hate it.

i'll start with the multiple methods for taking pure dxm powder. first, don't do syrup please. syrup is for idiots who are too lazy/stupid to get pure. if you are going to play with any powders you should already have some sort of scale. because the dxm dosages is usually in 50/100mg intervals you don't need an extreamly expensive digital scale. there is one scale inparticular(deering i think its spelled) that is very inexpensive that works perfectly. start off with a small amount, 300 would be a good starting dose and work from there. the most common method for taking pure powder is putting it in capsules. you CAN however take the powder and put it in a drink(i've never done it but talked to plenty of people that have). it will taste absolutly disgusting but it is possible to get down. you can also take a small peice of tissue paper and place the powder in the middle then fold it up into a very small square and eat it like a pill if you don't have access to gel capsules(gelcaps are easy to get so you shouldn't have to do this). oral is the most common but anal and yes even insnuf is effective. I DO NOT SUGGEST INSNUF! snorting dxm is extreamly painful and extreamly bad for your mucas membranes. the only reason that i mention it is because i HAVE done 300mg insnuf and it rocked my world. i'm not an idiot, i did it because it works. will i do it again? no, but i will say i was absolutly fucked from 300mg oral then 300mg insnuf during my peak. the anal method is extreamly effeciant as well(if you can get over the fact that you're sticking dxm into your ass). the high is much less obtrusive(it doesn't hit you in the face like a freight train) and lasts longer. oral is the best way to go but there's nothing wrong with experimentation. yet another method would be the 'dxm enema'. this consists of about 2-3 fl oz of water mixed with warm water, put into a syringe(no needle duh) or home enema kit and injected into your anus. the dxm enma is very messy and can be quite uncomfortable however it works very well. if you have any other questions please refer to the dxm faq that is located at http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/faq/dxm_faq.shtml
