lucid dreaming

What drugs (pharms or illegall),do people find allows them to have lucid dreams?
Im really into this at the moment because the tricyclic anti depressants i take are providing me with a hugely increased ability for this.I actually enjoy going to sleep now, with the premeditation of having an extremely lucid dream session.
just curious to see if anyone else does this.

Between 3 and 6 mgs of melatonin always seems to produce really lucid dreams for me. It's incredibly cheap too.

melatonin doesnt do shit for me. Actually, hardly any drugs cause me to have lucid dreams, opiates sometimes. But what really works for me is some method that I read on a lucid dreaming page. Get about 6 hours of sleep. Then wake up for about 10-20 minutes. Then fall back to sleep. This works for me 2/3rds of the time. Its sometimes scary feeling my body slip into lucid dreaming when im still awake, very delirious. But its all good

all the lucid dream sites recommend practice,so youre probably right.
ive also read that bhuddist monks practice it as one of the highest stages of meditation.

i have lucid dreams when i'm completely sober... just lucky, i guess, or something.

Without a doubt Ambien.
20-30mg of Ambien...fight off the sleep...talk to someone on the phone/in person.
Everytime I've done this I've been confused as to whether I'm dreaming or awake.
And the dreams are unreal.

My dreams where never the same after the first time I smoked DMT. I began to have regular lucid dreams; and the intensity and subjects of my dreams increased/changed. Actually, now and then, I will have full on DMT experiences when I am dreaming.

I think what many people need to realize is vivid != lucid.
lucid means you KNOW you are in a dream and can pretty much control the dream world, or at least yourself. VIVID dreams you might think the morning after it was lucid and thinnk you could control yourself, but it still isn't lucid unless you are completely, mentally awake and concious, but still dreaming.

I have a friend who did this and he talked with another friends mom (who is still alive) and no one else could see her!! at the end of the conversation he said something about elephants. I guess my friend (the girl) use to have her mom sing her sleep with a song that was about elephants!!
crazy shit! my friends call it the spychic pill.

Yeah all off my lucid dreaming occurs to me when I am sober. I've never even had one of thoese drug induced dreams. ::shrugs::
