Just wanted to start off my new membership by thanking every member who has once brought safe & judgement free advice into my post-cancer world. Being diagnosed w/ Stage 3 Breast Cancer in my 20s & needing different "ways" to live as "normal" of a life as possible while still under the hell of treatment has shown itself to be an absolute shitshow - mainly fed by the common practice of judgement: I look young, I look okay to them - and therefore I don't need anything of the sort & am simply pill-shopping.

Coming here & reading the advice & knowledge of those who choose not to practice that type of treatment has saved me many times from the unnecessary pain & suffering this current medical system has consistently put me through.

Although I feel as though I've suffered enough for the short period of time I have spent on this earth - I have learned that "enough" is not a quality that suffering can be labeled with - and I hope through my membership here I can continue to learn as well as provide what help I can to others who are currently facing the piss-poor service our medical system has to offer.

Thank you so much & an overdue hello to my fellow bluelighters!
