LSH works

Lysergic Acid Hydroxyethylamide is the main psychedelic in MG and HBWR. Whether or not this crude method will work is beyond me. But, I wont say how to do it, cause this whole this is edging on synthesis, not just extraction...

I don't think so... the main psychedelic is unsubstituted LSA isn't it? Personally I doubt that LSH has anything to do with the peppermind method, I accept that people feel that it is successful but I am hesitant and sceptical to ascribe the effects to LSH.
Though it is quite strange how peppermint (oil) would be useful at all if it's not the acetaldehyde in it that does something! Seems too coincedental? I just don't know, but I also feel that we shouldn't act like its proven that its LSH. It sums up nicely though.

Ohhhhh. I forgot to ask this.

Could I make a potent cold water extraction by extracting 100 MG seeds in a little distilled water, then strain the water and extract 100 more in the same water.

Could I keep doing this over and over to get alot of LSA in a small amount of water????

probably not. after a couple times, your fresh seeds will be sucking LSA out of your extract water, not the other way around. chemical equilibria are some serious hard laws.

if you have any experience with acid/base extractions, i think that is the best route to pursue. especially if you have a method for vacuum removal of low-boiling solvents. according to several people, LSA is highly soluble in acetone as well, so you may try that for getting a concentrated extract. just remember that acetone is miscible in water, so you need to evap all the acetone before you try mixing the extract with water or gelatin.

what if you were to do the CWE multiple times but in fresh water each time then combine them all and boil it down? i mean assuming you didn't use a whole lot of water boiling shouldn't take too long right? but idk about the effects of heat on LSA

I'm going to reiterate my view (and agree with some statements made by others)

LSH cannot be synthed from LSA and peppermint (unless someone proves this with chemical research that is based in good spectroscopic practices: i.e. 2D NMR to verify structure!). Period. As for the acetaldehyde, as someone mentioned above, its volatile, and also i want to reiterate some organic chemistry: Amides do not add across aldehydes in a 1,3 fashion. The 1,2 addition makes a very unstable hemiaminal, that probably doesn't get formed either.

You are having a subjectively different experience from peppermint and LSA than just from LSA because of the peppermints effects on the body chemistry. Peppermint is antispasmodic and carminative, which probably helps with the body load of LSA. It definitely will change the experience. I'm not saying don't combine them, i'm just saying dont call it "LSH".

One major point of this website is to prevent the spread of misinformation, and I feel like calling this peppermint oil + LSA as "LSH" is misinformation. Please call it "LSA and peppermint combination" and don't imply a different chemical has been formed unless you have chemical data to back it up.

I'm not trying to invalidate your experience, I'm just saying we need to be clear in our terminology and understanding. Hell, i'll probably try this next time with LSA because of the good reports coming back on the reduction in body load issues.

it irritates Liquid Sunshine.. so don't do it! k?!

if it makes you feel more comfortable, by all means, swim away. :)

No, it's annoying to everyone, completely pointless, and strongly discouraged by this community.. so don't do it! k?!

Pool's closed OP, whether swimming "makes you feel more comfortable" or not. Please ignore PinkPanther.
