LSDs affinity for plastic

Recently I had ~6 average size blotters in a plastic zip loc bag. I split the tabs to make 3 equal-ish pieces and consumed two while my girl consumed the other piece.

She had a really fun trip and was up all night while I fell asleep early [usually I'd be really looking forward/anxious to tripping]. I had taken 2c-i about a week prior.

I know phens have a cross tolerance with LSD, so I attributed it to that.

My main question though: does LSD "stick" to plastic baggies the way that trichromes from weed do? How resistant to handling are blotter tabs? The tabs were in the baggie and in my pocket for a long journey home, and before that they were in a friends pocket, potentially rubbing on the bag with each step.

Is licking the bag "just in case" really desperate? Haha.
 
Weed trichomes are incredibly hydrophobic which is why they are so sticky to many organic things. LSD is not even anything macroscopic - like granules that could escape, it only is absorbed on a molecular level by the blotter paper to which it is sort of stuck. I don't think it particularly wants to be there or not be there so to speak, but the thing that could draw it out is a solvent like water or alcohol. It can 'stick' to that, as a way of saying it dissolves in it.

Your baggy wouldn't contain any water or alcohol, unless it was half open and that pocket was soaking wet making it rub off not on the baggy but on the water in the mushy (lets say rain soaked) pocket. In any of the cases licking the baggy is probably redundant.

If the acid was degraded or if it had somehow left the blotter then why did your girlfriend still trip?

You probably cannot find the reason why you didn't trip hard, if not the tolerance - sometimes it just doesn't kick you in the face that hard and sometimes it does.

my mom once washed my pants with 10 well dosed blotters of lsd. I found a little ball of wet paper the next day in the pocket, thinking all lsd was gone i ate it 'just in case'. It was not as potent as the 10 blotters, but shit hitted me hard, as around 2 blotters i think. So LSD is sticking to blotters really well lol.
 
That's actually somewhat surprising but absolutely not impossible. A decent outcome I'd say. :)
 
through the wash? wow - that's amazing.
back in the day - i put a blotter on my tongue and in a split second remembered I had something to do and took it off... (tripped hard anyway) saved the blotter - tried it weeks later and got nothing from it.
 
Was the split second enough to make the blotter paper wet with saliva? Perhaps enzymes in your saliva can break it down? I am completely guessing here!
 
yeah - it was wet - but I would think that the washing machine with several cycles of water + detergent would totally wash it away in comparison.
 
Hmmm yeah it doesn't make sense doesn't it, the detergent is pretty much similar to enzymes you may have in your saliva. They both break down proteins IIRC, don't know if its relevant since acid is not a protein and I also do not know if there is something else in saliva that might break down acid.

We might even be talking placebo.
 
yeah, also the ball had the detergent taste, but i am not bullshitting you. I tripped pretty hard
 
Once I licked a hit of acid, not wanting to trip hard, and so I really just licked it once or twice.
I ended up tripping reasonably well, much more than I had expected.
Therefore, I assumed that the blotter had been used.
Just in case, I saved it, and a year later, I decided to let it sit in my mouth for a while.
Once again, I tripped pretty well!

I had no way of knowing the strength of the original hit, since I bought it as a single hit, and had nothing to compare it to. It is possible that it was very strong. In any case, I got 2 decent experiences from it, and one after a year.
 
What about sugar cubes, and what if the cubes were placed in a plastic bag right after the lsd was dropped onto them? I got 5 cubes from my friend the other day and he gave them to me in a small ziplock bag about half the size of a shoelace bag. I could have sworn I saw moisture on the bag where the cubes were rubbing up, possibly from the cubes being wet when placed in the bag. Do you think this could be a big loss of lsd? I figure I should lick the bag when i trip but it seems like it would be hard to guess the dose of that? Assuming it's even that big of a dose to worry about. I don't know I'm really high i'm just rambling does this make sense to anyone?
 
i had some pretty bad experiences with lsd on sugar cubes, it seems like it degrade faster than on blotter. Kept 3 sugar cubes in aluminium foil of some decent liquid, one week later, they were weak as shit.

fuuuck, i've had these for several weeks already and some of them are starting to break apart...I plan on eating a couple this weekend I hope they didn't lose too much potency
 
perhaps if they were in a hermetic plastic bag it wont be so bad, dont dose to much on first try ;)
