LSD with type 1 diabetes & MDMA with Lyrica....

Any diabetic BL'ers have experience calculating insulin units & self-administering injections while trippin on LSD?

Also, does anyone here perscribed Lyrica (pregabalin) find that it affects their MDMA use? If so, any advice on the amount of lyrica doses to skip in order to better the MDMA experience?!

.....can't really help except to say when i was on high doses of methadone it really stunted the MDMA experience

My mate has type 1 diabetes but I think he usually administers the insulin before he starts tripping properly, and then again when it's wearing off..

^ Cheers swampdragon! It's the risk of blood sugar going low whilst tripping that is my main concern.

blondin - Yeah,it's much the same with pregabalin - dulls down the MDMA experience. Skipping doses previous to MDMA is key but nerve pain returns from skipping doses. It's all a balancing act!

Pregablin a synthetic Gaba substance which decreases the calcium voltage brain signals from the brain so taking mdma on top you will have dampened effects. I would give it a good few days with out the pregabs and it will be out of your system then.

Yeah, my mate has type one, and she does her bloods/insulin before drugs, then bloods during, to check she's alright. I often do mine, just because I'm high, and it encourages her. She's not the best at managing it.

I've not noticed much of an effect on the MDMA experience, from taking pregabalin, even on 450mg a day. If it's good stuff, it always gets me there. Try not taking any on the day, then take your next dose when you're coming down, to help dull any pain that might be waiting for you. I take it MDMA kills pain, whilst you're on it?

Yeah, insulin before & after should do grand. Prob won't eat much during the trip anyway. Wee bit of fruit!

As for the pregabalin, i definately feel it dulls MDMA (when taken the same day) so will try skip a day next time. & yes, pain non-existant on MDMA.

No worries, mate. I assumed you wouldn't be in pain, whilst on MDMA. It's a cracking painkiller. The first time I took a pill, I was burning my fingers with a lighter, completely amazed that it didn't hurt. I felt it the next morning!
