Hi mate, perhaps you should ask ppl in the Australia Drug Discussion, check out the LSD thread and post the tabs on that, maybe someone else has come accross it.
I know from exp most tabs in QLD are shit. either old/bad storage or DOx (Not lsd at all)
Where in qld are you?
also 4 hits for a beginner is quite massive man. Could explain why it lasted so long, overall my exp with LSD turned bad first time but I grew to like it but in saying that I don't trip on it much, it's far to long duration for my liking, get wrecked for a long time. I much rather 2c-b/i

LSD is neat because the experience varies so wildly with dose. One hit can be all giggles and internal dialogue while 6 hits can put you into a world that's a cross between a Dali painting and Yellow Submarine.
This is not an ID thread so stop acting like it is one (they are not even allowed). I'm surprised at the responses, it just sounds like this could have very well been acid to me. 16 hours until you are okay to drive again is something else than 16 hours until the peak was over.
We don't and can't know what it was you took but let us assume that it was LSD.
Your reaction sounds pretty normal to me. It is usually euphoric for me but not fundamentally, that can easily be true for you. And yes tripping is confusing business, if only because your sense of reality and self gets deconstructed and there are a lot of questions raised. Curious questions!!

By the way psychedelics can (almost all of them) be dissociative to some extent. It's inherent to the dissolution of boundaries, it's inherent to psychedelia.
Your trip was your trip, I rarely meet people who think LSD is what they expected it to be.

Shrooms are far from evil! Sacred would be the more correct term...they will show you as much as you want and then some, a teacher plant if you will. For many who don't enjoy shrooms this is their least desirable trait - The "Head Fuck", people who take them and don't appreciate/respect this trait are usually setting themselves up for a rough ride. For me it is what I love and yearn for everytime. Should give them a chance and more so the respect they deserve, you'll be suprised how much you could learn from them about yourself.

acid is extremely confusing, expecially your first times. After a while you can start to control these but it seems like you dosed in bad environment.
acid is all about set and setting, and i believe yours wasn't that good (taking it by yourself and not telling your friends)
you're lucky you didn't have a bad trip dosing 4 hits ! Next time do it with close friends and you will have a great time

Tripping takes practice really, the more you do it the more comfortable you become with it.
jobe28 - with tripping a big factor to your experience is the environment you're in, and i personally being an experienced tripper now days couldn't think of anything worse than to rock up to hang out with mates and take acid but not TELL anyone I was doing it.
Before you decide acid is not that great or whatever, try it with friends so you will be more relaxed. Tripping balls and having to hide it is not the way to go about it, imo - sure it can be done and yes im it still can be somewhat enjoyed, but you get a lot more out of the experience if you're fully relaxed.

Also you feel the effects in 15 to 30min after ingestion. Dox takes about 60+mins to feel.
Still you never no what's on a blotter these days.

LSD is fun when you're around other people on LSD. I noticed I don't really think about anything more than a second when it comes to decision making. So far they have all been good decisions thankfully. Something I really like doing is skating around listening to music, when you're in the right environment it can be euphoric (in a way), relaxing, and very insightful.
I agree with skin too, I enjoy the "mind fuck" on shrooms. All it takes is a positive open minded attitude and you'll learn some stuff about yourself and form some opinions on the world.

Yeah agreed in a way! I do not 'enjoy' it particularly in a hedonistic sense but it's the one kind of mind fuck that puts me in my place and teaches me harshly enough to be forceful. I can rationalize my way out of the most insane things so I guess the only thing that can really humble me is a drug that circumvents that. LSD does not, it is too rational and I can negotiate with it. Proves to be a hell of a nice time, but not a very transformative one.
