LSD today?

So where is LSD being produced these days? It's seems so underground now bought some tabs today but they feel and taste like 25-I, I know of the few big busts but where is the majority being made these days?
 
I have my doubts about this thread to say the least. For obvious reasons any replies need to be pretty non-specific so I'm not sure what you think you might gain from the discussion - or even what discussion can be had to be honest. Will see how it goes but frankly don't expect it to be going very far...

Acid is produced by various people in various countries same as it has always been afaik. Given how easily smuggled it is it almost doesn't martter which country it is actually produced in - Wales was the world's biggest supplier of LSD for a while in the 70s. Acid was still available everywhere same as always despite most users not being able to find Wales on map.

As with all things really, it's far more about who you know than where the place of manufacture happens to be.
 
I'm not trying to source I can assure you.
I'm more interested in where it's made and is it just a select handful of people around the globe supplying everyone? etc
I'm also interested in the actual chemistry of it and how hard it is to purify which makes me wonder how many labs bother to purify it and remove a lot of the other chemicals that would be present after manufacture? Chemicals not active in the brain as such more active in the body.
Do you think manufacture is an on going process? Or do you think large batches are made and then just distributed around the globe untill they run out and another batch is made leading to a rise and fall of availability.

Yeh, I remember hearing at the time about the massive bust which resulted from 'Operation Julie' (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Julie )

1.1 million tabs and 3.5kg of crystal acid were recovered and destroyed (fair makes ya wanna weep). Apparently, this bust drove the price per tab up overnight from £1 to £5.

3.5kg - so much work, love and effort to create but so easy to destroy! It makes you wonder how that 3.5kg could have changed the future.... 3.5kg would have reached so many people! People who had never experienced it before..... Oh what could have been eh?
 
Hopefully in my closet - I have a bucket in there filled to the brim with orange peel and special brew which will form LSD within 6 months if kept in the dark.

I thought the price of acid actually came down after the operation julie bust.
 
Orange peel and special brew? I thought it's orange peel and toothpaste? That's where I'm going wrong!
