Amazing that public ignorance of LSD is still so great people can still claim bullshit like this:

The father of Jaycee Lee Dugard's alleged kidnapper said his son was never 'in his right head' since becoming hooked on LSD after a motorcycle crash as a young man.

Speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday, 88-year-old Manuel Garrido revealed his son Phillip started to hear voices in his head - even believing that God was talking to him - when he became addic-ted to the hallucinogenic drug.

He said Phillip had been a talented, well-behaved and kind child but everything changed after he started taking LSD after the crash.

Manuel, from Brentwood in northern California, said he felt sorry for Jaycee, but his son could not be held responsible for his actions because the drug had 'killed his brain'.

'He had a motorcycle wreck, and hit his head. He was never the same again.
'He fell in with a bad crowd of Mexicans, started taking LSD, and it f***** him up. He went nuts. He's not in his right head. The little bastard doesn't know what he's doing.

He obviously wasn't right in the head before he started on LSD. Consider most people who take LSD end up more caring, sensitive individuals.

Father blaming anything other than the kid's upbringing because that reflects on him (typical 'it's not my fault' bleat)

This is obviously just a sad excuse for this man going to jail for the rest of his life. I hope they can disprove this somehow.

I would say Fritz was at least a little more screwed up and LSD had nothing to with that. My thoughts are that LSD use is not very well related to the crime of kidnapping young girls, encaging them in a secret repository, raping them and then having them father your children who you also keep in your secret repository.

So...he hit his head in a severe accident and was not at all brain damaged in any way whatsoever by that, and then begun taking LSD, to which he became "addicted". His brain was damaged by the LSD, but was definitly, definitly not affected by his severe accident in any way whatsoever and he obviously had no pre-existing mental irregularities of any sort before his accident...this isn't rocket science. What a bullshit defense of a horrendous crime.
 
Ive known people who have taken nothing short of heroic doses of LSD and none of them became fuckin pedarests. It's just another classic case where the parent wants to blame it on something else other then the fact that their kid mighta been fucked up from the start and that they fucked them up even more.

No doubt he got brain damage in the motorcycle crash as well. But no of course it has to be the evil LSD 8) . Oh well this guy will never see the light of day again anyway.

I seriously doubt this had anything to do with lsd. The head injury might have made his impulsivity more pronounced or his judgement fucked....or maybe it hasto do with the parenting of the guy....that little bastard. who knows...i doubt lsd tho.
 
That "article" has to be the most retarded thing I have seen in a long time. Fuck that pedo, lsd had nothing to do with his sick needs...
