LSD Testing with Kits

There has been some discussion about the blotter I have containing 5-meo-amt instead of LSD-25.
I have tested with Ehrlich already and got a purple reaction.
I now have Elrich, Marquis, and Mecke from EZtest.
I just would like to know how to use Marquis and Mecke to differentiate between 5meo and LSD. I have soaking in a very small amount of distilled water two hits right now just in case (Also to see if the water glows under black light, because I have had a hard time telling if blotter is glowing before).

What color do I look for in the reagents? And does it need to be a solution or is blotter ok? How much solution or blotter paper is required?

According to an external site 5-MeO-AMT should turn: Purple with Ehrlich, and then anywhere from a yellow to a dirty brown with Marquis. Mecke should turn a dark reddish brown.

These results don't discern between differen't 5-MeO tryptamines which all should produce similar results, however given that you're unlikely to find the others on blotter it would point you in the direction of 5-MeO-AMT.

I don't think there should be any problems testing the blotter itself.

Also, regarding the discussion, how did it originate? The majority of blotter is LSD or bunk, rather than anything else, and the first suspects if you were sold something clearly not LSD would be the DOx family, so why would 5-MeO-AMT be suspect? Or did you and your friends spend hours puking your guts up?
