Everywhere ive ever read states that an LSD trip lasts 8-12 hours, however ive done it 5 times and each time my visuals will have stopped by about hour 5-6 and then i will normally hav 2 or more hours coming down which i hate lol. (comign down as in between sober nn tripping and unable 2 sleep).

Every time I have taken LSD, the visuals have pretty much abated by the 6 hour point. I believe the described duration of 8-12 hours is for the entire experience--visuals seem to only occur during the 'peak.'

lsd "trip" question

my friend, who is wary of psychs/dissociatives wanted to try out lsd and get a feel for it. so he took half of a hit(55ug total). he said that he felt it but it wasnt that strong and it only lasted around 4 hours total. im guessing the reason the trip wasnt so strong was the dose but im surprised it only lasted that long. what do u think? and what would be a good dose for a good trip thats not too strong? 110ug?

lower doses will 'smoothe out' much faster, and to the inexperienced tripper, it may appear as though they have totally come down from the effects.

given that 55 was not enough for a full experience, then 100-200 would be a good next step....how do you know the microgram dosage so particularly though??

the person i get them from knows the chemist and knows exactly how many micrograms are on each hit, which is 110ug.

Ok so i have this question and it's very important to me to find some sort of answer tot his dilemma.
So i was afraid of trying psychedelics , especially LSD cause of it's rep. and of the bad things i heart bout it.
But i tryed t for the first time a few months ago, and it was the most beautiful, euphoric, calm, powerful, mind -blowing, heart warming experience ever. I took 3 tabs(in 3 three different occasions), of the same type(a black and white sun-shape design and a smaaal blotter) and it was the same each of the times = beautiful.
And it made me fall in love,and think i'm good with pdychedelics.
Now yesterday, i tried a different type of blotter, a green bicycle model, a big blotter(almost too big) with a weird chemichalish bitter taste, pretty powerful taste,m not just a hint of. The come up ws extremely long, and when it blasted it wasn't anything like the blotter i took the last times, it wasn't at all euphoric, just a SEVERe mindfuck, i had visuals but nothing close to the waterish wavy ones i get from real LSD, more like patterning, enhanced perception of small patterns, distortion, trouble in focusing(i never had that with the previous tabs) and the midfuck wasn't peaceful at all ,it was scary, my thoughts flew fast , memories came flushing fast into my brain, i did some of the giggling and laughter, but i kinda blame that on the weed. And i didn't like it, i couldn't have taken too much, i took 3 quarters of a tab.
And it laster like...18-20 hrs with disturbing and depressing after effects lasting till now. I know you normally get after effects from lsd, but this ones were extremely disturbing,i couldn't even get out of bed, it was like a freackingg amphet comedown, with powerful muscle aches, and weird ddeliric type CEV's (like the ones you get from deliriants).
And from my knowledge and the one of a good friend of mine this couldn't have been lucy. It was bitter, no euphoria, no watery vision, no soul....there was no soul to this trip.
And my question is this: What could it be? Some suggest DOM or DOC. I just want some sort of confirmation this can't be LSD....can it?
Because it's disappointing if this were lucy, cause it wasnt that feeling, that melting , fluffy, gigglish , hearty, feeling-ish exp[erience.
And it couldn't have been from set setting, cause ffs, the first time i took lucy i went to my school graduation, proffesors, collegues, and all sorts of weird ppl around. And i took K ,mdma and smokes some hash with it and not for one second did it take me to a bad trip. All seemed funny, like a circus of freaks, all in robes, and it was paceful and meaningful, and taht caould've been a good setting for an awful trip, but it wasn't.I was euphoric the full 8 hrs, a milion times more euforic than from mdma.
Maybe this tab was like a bad roll, like when you're expecting mdma, and get some piperazine or a methbomb, or god knows what.
Oh btw it did dillate my pupils, but not toomuch...notmdma-ish like.

Recently came into posession of several hits of acid. They are the sugar cube variety, and were dipped in the fluid.

I've never done acid before.

I plan on taking it when I move into my new place next month. I'll be living alone, so I can do it in privacy. I'm wondering if it would be okay to do acid for the first time all by myself. I'm relatively experienced with hallucinogenic substances. Obviously I smoke, I've done shrooms a number of times, MDMA, salvia, as well as some dissociatives.

I tend to prefer tripping alone. When I've done shrooms with others, I tend to get kind of anxious and can't settle into the experience. I've heard acid can induce similar social awkwardness, so I'd prefer to do it alone.

I also don't want to be overwhelmed and all by myself though. I've never had a bad trip per se, so looking at my resume, you think I'll be okay?

Good to know. My friend said they made them while the guy was tripping on the acid. Said he was straight out of it. So I think it's also pretty good quality. My friend is pretty into acid, so I'm guessing he's giving me something powerful.

Reading more about reactions to this drug, it sounds right up my alley.

Guys, I know that LSD tolerance lasts 3+ days but how quickly does it come on?

I want to know how long i would have to re-dose?

So, I'm a fairly experienced tripper but I have never really dabbled in the low low doses of LSD. (1/2 or 1/4 hit)

Can anyone shed some light on what I can expect from taking 1/4 of a hit?
I kind of want to experiment with lower doses for a bit.

The Hoffman blotters- defintely NOT 220ug of LSD, one of the most common pirnts to be adulterated too. Caution advised.

There are so many different hofmanns coming out at different times, its a bit of a generalisation to say that they were or were not a certain dose.

I do agree though that 220ug is a big dose, but i've had Hoff's that wouldn't have been far off, if not on par with such a dose.

I'm told that the LSD on those Hofmanns is mostly from the same source, and also that it is not the highest quality L. They're supersoaked doses, for sure, but I'd personally try to avoid them as much as possible.
